I once was Lost

This is a story of a boy who once was lost. He is Antwone Quenton Fisher. He became
American author, screen writer and film producer. He describes how he became film
producer and found himself with a large family after being once lost. He was born in
prison and placed in foster home. When he grew up he joined the Navy (maritime service
branch of the United States Armed Forces) to escape homelessness.  His mother left him and got
another marriage. He consulted the telephone diary and contacted to his aunt who
welcomed him. He managed a short leave from a security guard and come to visit his
family. He found that all the Elkinses were all tall and attractive. Everyone said that he
looked so energetic like his father. Planning to say many things to his mother, he went
to visit her but he found that the road of his mother was larger than his so he did not
tell anything about why she left him. She had been hospitalized, imprisoned and on
probation. Then he returned back to Los Angeles and wrote movies on his life. He made
41 drafts and produced a final movie of his life.
 
Main idea of the text
It is a story of Antwone Fisher's father died before he was born and his
mother got married with another man so she left him.Then he grew up as a
foster child in a foster home(cgfy u[x) in Cleveland,USA.He struggled hard in
his life and became a security guard at sony pictures Entertainment in Los
Angeles.He did not anything about his parents at the beginning but later
with the help of Annette Elkins,he found his mother whose condition was
worse than him.
)Describe the narrator’s feeling when he called his relatives for the first time in
his life.
Ans. The narrator felt happy when he called his relative for the first time in
his life. He thought that he was not alone and his happiness and love were
coming toward him. He spoke interrupting and politely . With happiness, he
also felt nervous.

b) Describe the reaction of Antwone’s mother when she met him for
the first time.
Ans. Antwone went her and put his arms around her. He tried to look at her
to say that it was all right, but she turned her face away in awful shame. And
when he released her, she hurried out of the room, crying.
 
c) Why had Antwone thought his mother’s road was longer and harder
than his?
Ans. Antwone knew that after giving birth to him, she had gone on to bear
four other children. Over the years, for various reasons, she had been
hospitalized, incarcerated and on probation. She had faced poverty,
loneliness and rejection. So he thought his mother’s road was longer and
harder than his.
