(And Why We’re Breaking The Rules!)


Thanks for downloading the ‘$50k in 50 Days’ case study!

Before we dive in, I want to give you some context, to answer a few
questions you may have, and to set the record straight on why this case
study exists.

I also want to say right from the get-go that the way we approached this
case study breaks many of the tried-and-tested rules we’ll recommend you
stick to, as you build out your own income stream in the days and weeks
ahead.

We also progressed a lot slower than we could have done in the first few
weeks… literally taking weeks to do what you’ll soon be able to do in a single
day… (this is good news for you!).

TIP: Practice what we TEACH, not what we do in this case study!

The idea of the case study was born in October 2022. We’d just started our
Pilot Program with a group of Beta Testers when one of them challenged
me to generate $100k in 100 days.

Knowing that Sean (our head coach) and I had upcoming travel plans, I
decided that we’d shoot for $50k in revenue in 50 days instead (which is
actually a more challenging objective, given the shorter time frame).

Let’s dive into the case study with a quick overview of this remarkable
money-making machine!

Getting To $50,000 In 50 Days

By now hopefully you’re somewhat familiar with the 123 Profit model, which
is the vehicle we’re leveraging in this case study to generate $50,000 in 50
days. If you’re not however, here’s a quick overview…

123 Profit leverages a unique form of ‘CPA Marketing’.

CPA stands for ‘cost per action’, and it means that we can get paid for
simple actions that people (our website visitors) take.

Traditionally this has been things like making a product purchase, but in our
case it’s almost always by providing simple pieces of information (such as
an email address, sometimes a name, or a zip code, etc).

The 123 Profit method takes the traditional CPA Marketing model and straps
turbo-chargers onto it to make it more lucrative and faster than ever before.

We do this using a special set of rules and parameters that allow us to cash
in without needing to sell anything (which in turn leads to MUCH higher
conversion rates that put the business model in a league of its own).

As you’ll soon discover firsthand, there are dozens of benefits to the 123
Profit model - things you just don’t see in other online business models.
Such as:

• You don’t need to create a product


• The webpages are incredibly simple (they have as little as 20-30 words
on them)
• You don’t need to do any “selling”, which results in…
• INSANE conversion rates to levels most marketers can only dream of!

are!).
• And you’re building an ASSET that you could sell, a genuine ‘legacy
business’ that could last for decades (we started this model in 2006 for
example).

As you can see, there’s a lot to like!

But how exactly does this work?

Here’s how…

1. First, a person visits your web page.


2. Your webpage contains an ‘offer’ (created by another company) with a
‘call to action’. For example, perhaps your offer is home loans for
people who have a bad credit score.
3. The ‘call-to-action’ could be… fill in your email… or enter your zip code…
or submit another piece of simple information.
4. If the person takes this action, and converts into a ‘lead’, YOU GET PAID
A COMMISSION.

We send traffic to offers that people are searching for (such as auto
insurance quotes, free samples of popular products, free movie tickets, and
much more).

When someone visits your web page, they submit their email address in a
form on your page and are then automatically directed to the offer you’re
promoting.

For example, let’s assume I do a search in Google for “home loans for bad
credit scores in Philadelphia”:

Let’s pretend for a moment that the first website shown here is mine… and
someone clicks on it.

They’re taken to a page that looks like this…

IMPORTANT: This is not one of our websites, I’m just using it as an example.

Once on the website, there is normally a form to submit information (in this
case, it’s a 2-part questionnaire), and then they are directed to the actual
offer website, where they submit their information (often just an email,
name or phone number).

At that point, we make a commission. Remember, there is…

• No selling.
• No delivery of anything.
• No headaches.
• And once set up, it’s all completely automated.

So, in a nutshell, we send qualified traffic to an offer, some people enter
their information to move forward with the offer, and we then get paid.

Side Note: An important differentiating factor here when comparing this to


traditional affiliate marketing models, is that the traffic is VERY targeted and
we are giving people solutions to what they’re searching for.

We do not get visitors by interrupting them on their social media feed, by


forcing them to watch an ad on YouTube, or anything like that.

Instead, we simply serve up a solution to a problem they are trying to solve,


meaning the whole process is adding value, it’s congruent from end to end,
and it’s a win-win for us AND for the visitor.

The traffic platforms we use to get started are Google and Microsoft. These
platforms deliver highly targeted traffic and plenty of it.

Day 1: November 11th, 2022

The 50-day challenge began on November 11th, 2022.

The first thing we did was to create a simple landing page where visitors
who click on our Google ads will be directed.

Our offer will be about “rent to own”, which is a popular alternative to


traditional home financing for people who are unable to obtain financing for

whatever reason. We are promoting a simple “lead submit” offer that works
like this:

You can see the exact process below.

NOTE: Sometimes it can be even more simple than what we’re about to
show you…. with fewer steps and pages… but for the Rent-To-Own niche,
this is what works very well.

1. People do a Google search


2. They find our website, and submit some information to us
3. We then redirect the visitor to the Rent-To-Own offer we are
promoting
4. If the visitor then takes further action (by filling in another form), we
get paid

Here’s the landing page we set up:

After clicking on our ad (which we’ll discuss later), the visitor comes to the
above webpage.

They’ll then be asked a couple of simple questions that only require a


button click to answer (ie. simple, streamlined, and FAST – three keys to
bashing down the barriers that would otherwise stop us earning a
commission!).

Here’s what happens after someone clicks on ‘3 Bedrooms’ from the list on
the first page:

After clicking ‘No’ here (as an example), they then land on this page…

And after entering this information, the visitor is then directed to the offer
page (where we can earn a commission).

Side Note: Look how simple the three pages shown above are… they’re
VERY simple. They don’t have any distractions, no fancy menu options, in
fact, they have the BARE MINIMUM (this is by design)

But this kind of additional content is optional, and some of our very best
converting pages don’t have any of this…. and like I also said earlier, for the
Rent-To-Own niche, we have more pages in the process than we usually do
in other niches.

The Offer Page

So… after a visitor goes through the process shown above, they’ll end up on
a page that looks a bit like this:

This is not the actual offer we will promote, it is just an example of a typical
landing page for CPA offers (like the ones we leverage in our 123 Profit
method).

Day 7: November 18th (Offer Selection)

When selecting an offer, we want something that is as simple as possible


(are you noticing a common theme here? Simple… Simple… Simple!).

A simple offer will dramatically increase conversions (which will eventually


add a lot more money to our bank account!).

The less information the searcher needs to enter in order to complete the
offer, the better!

We have some very specific guidelines for offer selection, and these will be
explained in full detail in the 123Profit course - but at a high level we look for
offers that:

1) Only require simple information (eg. email address, phone, no long


detailed forms)
2) Have a network EPC > 25% (don’t worry about what this means for
now, we’ll cover this in detail in the 123 Profit training - EPC is
essentially just an indicator of how well the offer converts overall for
other marketers like us who are promoting it)
3) Allow search traffic, which is our preferred ‘no resistance’ type of
traffic, and also the simplest type of traffic you can get (note: this is
not a problem, most of the best offers do allow search traffic)

MaxBounty is a popular CPA network that lists hundreds of offers, so we’ll


head there to find something that meets our needs:

Look closely and you’ll begin to see there are a good number of offers that
pay out huge commissions, even to the tune of hundreds of dollars per lead!

Using our criteria for selecting an offer, we have chosen this simple lead

Next, we will dive into figuring out how to drive targeted visitors to the offer
(one step closer to being able to begin to cash in)!

Day 14: November 25th (Keyword Research)

The next step in the process towards cashing in with the new website is to
figure out what people will type into Google when they are looking for “rent
to own” properties.

These search phrases will be our campaign “keywords”. Fortunately, there


are free tools that help us identify the best keywords to target, such as
Google’s free Keyword Planner (you can find the Google Keyword Planner
using a simple Google search, and rest assured, we’ll give you VERY detailed

guidance on how to use this to your advantage in the core 123 Profit
training!).

To get started with the Keyword Planner, we enter a word/phrase related to


the niche, in our case, we simply type “rent to own”, then click the “Get
Results” button.

The Keyword Planner then serves us up page after page of related


keywords, like what you can see in the image below:

We can then start making a simple shortlist of the keywords that are most
interesting to us (more on the exact criteria for doing this in the core 123
Profit training).

Once we’ve found some keywords to test, we can move on to creating our
simple ad campaign!

Day 19: November 30th (Creating Our Ad Campaign)

19 Days in, and as I mentioned at the very beginning, we’ve been moving at
a snails pace so far (purposely), but that’s all about to change very soon!

NOTE: Everything we’ve done so far could be done in a single day, in fact in
just a few hours, especially when you unleash the tools and shortcuts that
you’ll have at your disposal as a 123 Profit member!

We’ve chosen some keywords, so now we are going to set up and start our
Google Ads campaign.

In the screenshot above, we’ve started setting up the campaign, and have
pasted in the keywords we found using the Google Keyword Planner. Things
are about to get really exciting, because we can have clicks to our landing
page coming in literally within an hour!

We can then complete the campaign setup by choosing a budget. In this


case we will set the budget at $200 per day because we want to be
aggressive and get as many clicks and lead payouts as possible over the
course of this campaign.

IMPORTANT: We do *NOT* recommend you start with this kind of budget,


that would be a MAJOR deviation from our path of least resistance and
least risk. DO NOT START YOUR CAMPAIGN IN THIS WAY.

Normally, as you’ll see in the core 123 Profit training, you’ll start with a
micro-budget of just a few dollars each day and increase it as your business
grows.

After setting our budget, we turn on the ads and start to watch the traffic
(and commissions) come in…

Day 30 - December 10th (Results Update #1)

First and foremost… please heed this warning!

WARNING: As mentioned throughout this document, this case study


aggressively dives into a new niche without worrying about ad spend,
scaling speed, or even profitability at the outset. This is NOT how we
recommend you start your 123 Profit business. For the purposes of this
case-study, we are breaking ALL the rules!

For your very first campaign we recommend taking very small steps, using a
very small budget, and scaling when you know you are profitable, when you
know you can spend a dollar to make at least two back (sometimes a lot
more!). Once you are in profit like this, the results from a higher ad spend
are MUCH more predictable and manageable.

Plus, we will show you how to gradually build up an ad budget “war chest”
too..

So…What happened in our first 10 days?

We broke even, which is a not a bad thing. In fact, it’s pretty normal, in the
initial stages of any campaign, for it to take a few days to get into clear
profit.

• How much did we spend?


• How much did we make?

Check this out…

As you can see, we spent $3,554.90 for ads during the first 10 days…

And here’s what that earned us…

Yup, in the first 10 days, we had revenue of $3,584, and we spent $3,554.90,
so we’re slightly above break even (woohoo!).

Again, to stress, this is NOT how we recommend setting up and running a


new campaign, we would normally recommend you spend a tiny fraction of
this in the first 10 days!

Hidden Profit (Hint: An Absolute GOLD MINE)

What the ‘break even’ over the first 10 days doesn’t show you is that in that
time, we’ve actually built up a list of several THOUSAND subscribers!

SIDE NOTE: See where it says ‘5,777 Conversions’ in the screenshot above?
This is the combined number of sales AND email subscribers we’ve amassed
over the first 10 days. The exact breakdown isn’t shown in the image above,
but it’s approximately:

Two thirds email subscribers, and one third sales, so about 3,800 email
subscribers and 1,900 sales.

These 3,800 email subscribers are as good as money in the bank, in fact,
they’re better than money in the bank, they’re more like an ATM machine
we can draw cash from anytime we want to… as we continue to progress
with the campaign.

REMINDER: How did we build this subscriber list?

We were able to do it because we captured the visitor information BEFORE


passing the visitor on to the offer, which of course, makes us money as well.

And remember, at this stage we’re only 10 days into the campaign… there’s
still plenty to optimize, starting with our simple webpage and our keywords.

Campaign optimization might sound like something that’s complicated, but


it’s not.

We’re talking about doing simple things, like changing a word, or changing
the color of a button - things we can do in a matter of seconds just by
pointing and clicking on our webpage (the software we use makes this
completely newbie friendly, as you’ll soon see for yourself).

Optimization can make all the difference when it comes to building an


ultra-lucrative campaign or a mediocre one.

Day 36 - December 16th (Results Update #2)
Only six days have passed since the last update (above), but we’ve raked in
another $8,484 in revenue and are slowly fine-tuning this brand new money
machine! The total revenue so far is $12,068.

Also note, we’re now at 19,941 conversions, which in this case represents
about 13,000 email subscribers who will mean more ‘on-demand’ income
anytime we want it. Also remember, that these email subscribers have a
“value” too. At this point we’ve basically built an actual sellable asset here
worth $30K at least!

From here we’ll continue polishing the machine… - bigger results are
coming!

Day 40 - December 30th (Results Update #3)
Day 40, and we’re at a whisker under $33,000 in revenue so far, not a bad
start, especially considering we’re breaking ALL the rules!

IMPORTANT: This revenue number is not our profit, nor is it the total
amount we’re actually going to make as a result of what we’ve done so far
(the total we’ll make will far exceed this $33,000, as we haven’t leveraged
ANY of the back-end yet.

In other words we haven’t monetized the 30,000+ email list (now a sellable
asset of as much as $100K+) we’ve built up either, so take this number with
a healthy grain of salt!

You’re probably wondering what we’ve spent on ads, here’s where we are
so far…

$21,869 on ads… GASP! OUCH! BUFF!

I’ll take this opportunity to AGAIN stress that this is NOT the approach you’ll
be using in the 123 Profit system, you’ll be growing a profitable business
VERY slowly with an ad budget that you feel comfortable with (in fact, you’ll
also see free traffic methods as well).

So don’t freak out!

The pure profit, 40 days in, and after just 21 days of turning on the traffic, is
$9,000.

That $9,000 profit divided over these 21 days works out to be an average of
$428 PER DAY in PROFIT.

But again, the real profit number from what we’ve done so far would likely
be double or even triple this number, because we haven’t monetized the

back end yet, we haven’t unleashed the Mail Machine… and we still have
some optimization we can do here.

As a side note, $428 profit per day is equivalent to an annual profit of


$156,428, and we’ve built this in 40 days, and we’re only just getting going.

Day 50 – January 8thth (Results Update #4)


Now we are on day 50 and as you can see below we have generated a total
of $50,681 during this entire time period.

And as far as ad spend, let’s see where we are with that…

So as you can see, over the 50 day period we spent $35,044 in ads (with
revenue of $50,681)… that translates into an initial profit of: $15,637.

Now again, before we get into the exciting part about this, let me just
reiterate once again, this case study aggressively dives into a new niche
without worrying about ad spend, scaling speed, or even profitability at the
outset. You will be doing it COMPLETELY differently.

For a start, you’re most likely going to be running offers that pay MUCH
MORE per lead.

In addition to that, you will start from as little as $5 per day in ads, and go
from let’s say $10 per day profit, to $25/day profit… to $100, $200, $500 and
beyond. That’s the aim.

But listen… to us, the most exciting part about the


results of this case-study is THIS:

The email list we have built. We have created an ASTONISHING amount of


leads during this process, in the REAL ESTATE niche!

In fact, we’ve built up an email list of over 50,000 people!

Not only does this mean that over the next few months, the $15,637 profit
will probably triple AT LEAST when we email them additional offers… the
value of this email list asset is worth well into 6-figures, and potentially it
could be sold on as part of this “quick-start” business… if we wanted to do
that.

The $15K profit is really just the bottom floor of this. In reality, over the 50
day period, we have generated far far more money than that.
