Eff Statement On Public Representatives Who Failed To Organise Transport For Their Constituencies For The Eff 10th Anniversary Rally
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) held its Plenum and First Central Command
Team Meeting (CCT) for the year 2023 on the on the 31st of January 2023. In these
meetings, the EFF gave a directive to all of its Public Representatives, from
Councillors, Members of Provincial Legislatures and Members of Parliament, to
arrange transportation for their constituencies to attend the 10th Anniversary Rally of
the EFF at FNB Stadium on the 29th of July 2023.
This directive was given to ensure that Public Representatives bring those that they
claim to represent, to the celebrations of the EFF and to ensure that the people of
South Africa from all across South Africa are part of this historic occasion.
We take this opportunity to commend and salute all Public Representatives who have
adhered to this organisational directive without fail. We call on all Public
Representatives to ensure that the transportation methods used to bring their
constituencies to FNB Stadium are safe, in a good condition and utilised by
responsible and experienced drivers.
On Thursday, 07th of July 2023 the EFF held a press conference at Uncle Toms Hall,
Soweto, where the leadership reflected on the Road To The EFF 10th Anniversary
Rally and various domestic and international issues. In this press conference, the EFF
pronounced that all those who failed to adhere to the organisational directive of
transporting their constituencies to the Rally, would have their names published to the
public, regardless of their rank or position in the organisation.
It must be noted that, the initial deadline for submissions of organised transportation
by all Public Representatives was Wednesday, 31st May 2023. Upon consideration
and reflection, the organisation granted an extension, extending the deadline to
Friday, 30th of June 2023. This means that all Public Representatives had six (6)
months to organise transport for their constituencies, with a one month extension
granted. Those who failed to comply did so under this context.
This statement therefore is constituted by all Public Representatives of the EFF who
failed to organise any means of transportation for their constituencies for the 10th
Anniversary Rally of the EFF at FNB Stadium, on the 29th of July 2023.
All of those whose names appear on the respective lists below, are banned from
attending the 10th Anniversary Rally of the EFF, and further consequences will be
explored against them and all those who may have procured a certain amount of
transportation, but did not meet the requisite target. These will be explored by the EFF
leadership in due course.
All of the names below, are people who failed to secure transport completely, for those
they claim to represent.
