GEORGE TONGERIE All of us know the stolen generations as a part of Australia’s history and this is an autobiography of the first person born in Colebrook home in Oodnadatta.George Tongerie’s mum died after she gave birth to George.After his mum passed George had a miserable life.He was taken away by the whitefellas and he was taken away as a baby grew up in the dormitories,It was most likely as a home for George.He used to go to the local school,local Sunday school and church.He kinda liked the school he attended because everyone were treated equally with the white children and all of the children needed to share the first lunch the children taken away from their homeland
