Google classroom- A platform to share academic resources

 ATTENDANCE
Daily class attendance is a condition for fulfilling requirements of the academic
programme, completing course work, and general academic progress at the school.

80% attendance (working days) during the academic year is a pre- requisite for
promotion to the next grade level. (The school reserves the right to withhold promotion in
case the minimum attendance requirement is not fulfilled.)

All children are expected to attend the first day and last day of school at the beginning
and ending of every academic session respectively. This is mandatory according to the State
Education Act.
 ABSENTEEISM

Leave note provided in the diary should be duly filled by Parent/ Guardian and submitted to the
teacher. However, absence longer than 3 days will also require a medical certificate from a
certified Allopathic doctor.

Half day leave will not be sanctioned.

In the event of a planned absence, parents are requested to obtain prior permission of the
Principal/ Section Head before proceeding on leave.

No leave adjoining vacations will be allowed without the prior written permission of the Principal.

Re-test will not be conducted if student is absent on the day when the test/exam is
conducted.

 ANTI BULLYING POLICY

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Rabindranath Tagore School is a staunch believer of equal

treatment to all its students and follows zero tolerance policy against harassment
to any of its students.

To deal with the predicament of bullying, the School has constituted a committee
to look into any incident related to bullying. The committee is authorized to take
appropriate measures to deal with concerns related to “bullying.”

 CAFETERIA
• The cafeteria services will be functional from the 3rd of July 2023.

• It is mandatory to opt for breakfast and lunch if opting for the cafeteria facility.

• The school provides an optional meal service to all the students at the following slabs:
Term 1: July to November – Rs.15,000/-
Term 2: December to April – Rs.15,000/-
 TRANSPORT
Student`s safety and security are our top priority and all buses comply to RTO norms .

We have CCTVs installed in our buses to ensure the safety and security of
students. GPS is fitted in all of them for tracking. Parent will be able to access the same
in the school Edusprint app.

The buses will be operational from the first day. The Transport department
will communicate with you telephonically to inform you of the drop and pick up time.

any transport related queries.
 SECURITY AND SAFETY
We have CCTVs mostly on all floors, classrooms, common areas and their purpose is
to ensure the safety and security of students.

Bearers cards to be carried by parents or authorised guardians escorting the

 BEARER CARD
The bearer card shall be given with the school stationery kit.

The same must be filled by the parent completely in order to facilitate smooth handover of the student at the
time of dispersal by bus/parent pick-up.

The bearer card will be checked by the authority before handing it over to the student. Kindly fill in the school
bearer card with all details and photographs and get it stamped by school authorities along with ID card, as per
dates shared above.

Bearer Cards will be provided along with the books. Students are required to carry the bearer card on the first
day of the school to get it stamped.

Ensure that the person responsible for collecting the child, including the parent, always carries the Bearer Card.

Loss of Bearer Card should be communicated to the school authorities immediately.

Parents are requested to prepare a temporary ID card along with a
lanyard for the first month of school and get the card stamped from
the school office.

ID cards should be worn daily by all students.

Duplicate ID cards will be issued on payment of Rs. 500/- to the

 All home-to-school communication and vice versa will be done through
the school diary. Please read and sign the school diary daily.
