Key Rules

Follow All Paper Requirements

All paper requirements (information provided in View/Description and Files attached (if any)) must
be 100% followed. If the paper you submit does not meet the paper requirements to the full, it might
be reassigned (removed from your account together with the salary for it) from you.
If paper requirements are not clear enough or the order lacks some information (or the order seems
to lack files), the writer MUST ask for clarifications. It is the responsibility of the writer to ensure
that the paper instructions are detailed and clear.

Submit Papers on Time
Writers must upload their finished papers on time or before the deadline. Late papers may cause a
lower or a failing grade for customers. They may demand their money back or refuse to use our
services again in the future. That is why, writers who submit papers when the deadline is out are
financially penalized (order salary becomes lower by 30%) or even may lose their compensation for
the order.

If the order you take from the system does not have the time specified in Time remaining (deadline
is already out but the order is still in Available orders), then you should contact Support Team to
clarify how much time it is possible to have for completion of such an order. You must not start
working on the order without approval of our Support Team.

Avoid Plagiarism
Plagiarism is not acceptable and is not tolerated by our company. If you are found guilty of minor
plagiarism, your account will be downgraded and financial penalties might be applied to the salary
of the plagiarized order. However, if you happen to plagiarize again or plagiarism percentage is
high, your account will be deactivated immediately and the earned funds for the plagiarized works
will not be released.

NOTE: Writers cannot use their previously completed orders or even a part of their papers
uploaded to the system in any other way (cannot resell, publish, use again for any other orders,
etc.). All authors’ rights and copyright are transferred to the customers once the papers are
submitted. Each and every paper you upload has to be unique and original even the topic is
absolutely the same - no matter whether it is an essay/research paper or PPT, or Rewriting
order. Every paper must be unique and original!

Pay Attention to What You Write
You must create the project in the most proficient way. Your writing should be clear and logical.
The paper shouldn't contain any grammatical, orthographic, punctual, or stylistic errors. You must
proofread the paper before its submission!

4Writers.net expects your professional approach to freelance writing and is looking forward
to long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Common Mistakes

The thesis statement must be present in every paper - be it an essay, a research

paper, dissertation, or any other piece of writing (except for Questions/Answers
type). The paper requirements mark is often reduced by an editor and professor
Thesis
due to this major omission.
statement
The thesis statement is usually provided at the end of the first paragraph of the
paper (the last sentence of the introduction paragraph).

The introductory sentence must introduce an idea which is to be discussed

throughout the paragraph and have a concluding sentence. It is not a conclusion to
Paragraph the whole paper. The last sentence concludes the paragraph itself exclusively.
division Only one idea is discussed in one paragraph; another idea – another paragraph.
Too short (1 or 2-sentence paragraphs) or too long (the whole page is only one
paragraph) paragraphs are NOT appropriate for academic papers.
For some reason, conclusion is omitted in a number of papers. All sections are of
great importance, not only the Body section.

Conclusion should summarize the paper. No new information as well as

Conclusion quotations and in-text citations should be presented there.

For some reason, the writers often translate articles/papers from some other
languages into English hoping to avoid plagiarism. This is NOT an option. Writers
Translation and who do that get warnings and the order is reassigned.
Paraphrasing

Grammar  No “I, we” pronouns usage, unless required by the customer (in opinion
essays, for example).
 No contractions.
 No idioms.
 No phrasal verbs.
 No colloquial words.
 No too short or too long sentences
 Avoid using bullet points in essay, as they are more appropriate for
PowerPoint presentations.
 No listing of information, especially when it comes to providing dates of
birth of poets, politicians, etc.
 No conjunctions at the beginning of the sentence (and, or, but);
 No rhetorical questions (if it is not a requirement).

Only English sources are valid. Inaccurate sources usage is the main demand for
a refund.
Writers must understand that about.com, answers.com, ehow.com,
wikipedia.org, SparkNotes, etc. are NOT valid sources.
Scholarly sources must be used ONLY. When it comes to books and articles,
which can be found online, these sources must have an author, a date, and a place
of publication, as well as volume and number.
Use only up-to-date sources (published within the last 5 years (in rare cases 10
Sources/ years)).
references

Falsification of sources’ details is forbidden. Some writers change the dates of

publication of old sources into more recent ones. Also, writers provide non-
existent page numbers in in-text citations. Please remember that sources are
being checked by editors and then customers’ professors. If it is proven that
the source is inaccurate, the writer will be penalized and the order might be
reassigned to another writer or even refunded.

All the sources used in the paper need to be cited. If you add direct quotations,
they should be given in quotation marks (+source information: author, date of
publication page, etc. depending on the style). If paraphrasing, the source
should also be indicated. Otherwise, the work is considered to be plagiarized.
Plagiarism Statistical data and dates as well as specific information (that is not common
knowledge) must be always properly cited.

At times, writers tend to provide too general and irrelevant information in

Too general andthe introduction/ and often in the body of the paper as well. Be specific and
irrelevant focus on the topic. Do not switch your writing to any related topics. E.g. When
information you are asked to write a critical analysis of the book, you should not devote a half
of the page to author's biography. Not even a sentence. Focus on the book only.
If Description section is empty and there are no files attached, paper instructions
MUST be clarified with Support team and the customer. Even if this section has
some info, but it seems to be not clear enough or lacks some information (or the
order seems to lack files), the writer MUST ask for clarifications. A topic only
cannot be considered as full instructions!

Unclear paper It is the responsibility of the writer to ensure that the paper instructions are
requirements detailed and clear enough.

Word Count 1 page (Double spacing) – 300 words (+10%); 1 page (Single spacing) – 600
words (+10%)
However, if the customer orders a specific number of pages but wants
much more/less words* to be written, word count has to be clarified with the
customer/Support. (* much more – at least 1 page (300 words) more than
ordered).
Exception:
If the customer provides a specific limit for words in the instructions, then that
specific limit has to be followed. For example, the customer orders 2 pages
Double, which is 600 words, but writes that he/she needs 500-550 words, then the
paper has to be 550 words maximum, and not 600 words.
If the order is 4 pages Double, for example, which is 1200 words, and in the
requirements it is written that the paper has to be 1300 words, then you should
write 1300 words.
The title page information, Table of Contents, Abstract, footnotes, reference list,
tables, graphs, etc. are NOT included to the total word count.
Writers must include Abstracts in Research papers of APA style, when the
paper is of 5 or more pages.

When the order is less than 5 pages, then Abstract is required only if the customer
specifically asks for it.
Abstract in
Remember that the Abstract is not a part of an introduction and it has a specific
APA papers
structure to be followed (Aim/methods/results)
Abstract is not counted to the overall word count.
