THE LARGEST PRODUCED WATER EVENT IN THE MIDDLE EAST

WELCOME MESSAGE
On behalf of the Produced Water Society (PWS) Middle East Chapter and its Committees, it gives me immense pleasure to
extend a warm welcome to all participants and invite you to join us for the “Middle East Produced Water Oil and Gas Conference
& Exhibition” in 2023. Building upon the success of our previous events, this Conference aims to address the challenges,
opportunities, and innovations in produced water management within the oil and gas industry. We will focus on technological
advancements, environmental regulations, water treatment, and reuse strategies. The Conference will be held from 4-7
December,2023 in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Produced Water Society is delighted to host this prestigious event to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration
among professionals in the field. It will be a fantastic opportunity for industry leaders, subject matter experts, government
officials and environmental professionals to come together, exchange ideas and showcase their innovative technologies,
best practices and lessons learned.

As we strive for a sustainable future, we invite all IOC’s and NOC’s to play a key role in the development and maintenance of
this knowledge exchange. Together, we can assist the region›s plans for a sustainable future and protect our valuable
resources and environment for generations to come. Personally, as a production chemist at heart, I am excited to hear the
wealth of technical knowledge and expertise we have gathered and the positive impact we can collectively make. Join us at
the Conference and be part of this important journey towards sustainable produced water management.

We look forward to your participation and to creating a memorable and impactful event in 2023.

As the President of the Produced Water Society and Technical Chair for this first-ever event in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia, I am proud of our accomplishment in the GCC. The society enters into it’s 8th year in the Middle East and our 34th
year as a Texas-based non-profit group and is supported by a strong technical committee and executive committee that has
been instrumental in putting this week’s Conference and Exhibition together.

With our collection of engineers, scientists, and industry professionals we are able to improve education in the oil & gas
space and share a common mission to study and improve the management of produced water from offshore and onshore
wells. An important part of this is ensuring that produced water meets applicable environmental regulations and standards
and is analyzed by appropriate methods. The organization is committed to providing the best science and information .

Now more than ever, our community of professions need to come together to pave the way for how we think of water and
how we use water. I continue to be passionate about finding new solutions and technologies for the industry and helping
production companies increase their efficiency and meet environmental responsibilities.
