Battery Limited Warranty

®
Subject to the terms below, this limited warranty applies to your new Raymond 6210/8210
24 Volt Lithium-Ion Battery (the “Battery”) and covers certain defects in materials and
workmanship for the following periods:

• With respect to non-wearable components – the warranty period begins when installed,
which should be no later than 2 months from ship date from the factory, and must
include installation in the SAP system using the Battery serial number, Warranty
terminates five (5) years from that date or after 10,000 hours of operation; whichever
comes first.

• With respect to wearable components, including but not limited to the charger cord and
connecter – the warranty period terminates four (4) months from installation.

The Battery is intended for use in the Raymond 6210/8210 Pallet Truck (the “Truck”). In the
event that the Battery is used in conjunction with any other equipment, the Warranty will be
void unless you have received approval for the modification from Raymond in the form of an
executed S207 (Field Modification Request) document.

Provided that you give notice to The Raymond Corporation within [thirty (30)] days of the date on
which you discovered or should have reasonably discovered any warranty defect, and at the sole
cost of The Raymond Corporation, except as provided herein, components found to be defective
by an authorized Raymond Solutions and Support Center during the warranty period described
above will be either replaced or repaired, in the sole discretion of The Raymond Corporation, by
an authorized Raymond Support and Solutions Center. Replacement components installed
during the defined period set forth above, are warranted for the balance of the applicable
component warranty period, or 90 days, whichever is longer. For purposes of clarity, all freight
charges incurred in the replacement or repair of a defective component will be paid by The
Raymond Corporation, provided that the replacement or repair is made by an authorized
Raymond Support and Solutions Center. All taxes incurred in the repair or replacement of any
component pursuant to the warranty provided herein will be paid by you.

This warranty provided herein is void in the event of any defects or damage caused by: (i) lack of
scheduled maintenance of the Battery (as described in the Maintenance Manual and Raymond
Service Information); (ii) your negligent use of the Battery; (iii) misuse of the Battery; (iv) abuse,
accident, impact, exposure to chemicals; or (v) water immersion.

This warranty is void if handling and storage procedures identified by the Owner Manual,
Operator Manual, Maintenance Manual, or Raymond Service Information are not followed. Such
handling and storage procedures include but are not limited to, keeping the battery’s exposure
within the proscribed environmental limitations, storage, operating temperature, discharge, over-
charge, charge sequence, and shock and vibration limits.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or loose components or parts.

The Raymond Corporation reserves the right to make changes and improvements in design of the
Battery without making changes to previously manufactured Batteries.

Notwithstanding any other language contained herein, this warranty is expressly voided without
any further notice if any modification is made to the Battery or the Truck, or if additional
components or devices are added to the Battery or the Truck, without prior approval having been
granted in writing by The Raymond Corporation.

EXCEPT FOR THE STANDARD WARRANTY, IF APPLICABLE, THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE
ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH
OF THIS WARRANTY. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED,
IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE NOR ANY WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT OF
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF A THIRD PARTY. THE LIABILITY OF THE RAYMOND
CORPORATION SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY
YOU FOR THE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL THE RAYMOND CORPORATION UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE
DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.
