Going straight to the point, I
picked today’s theme "the end is just a new beginning" as I got to know this is the
last toastmasters meeting conducted for the term 2022/2023.the Exco is coming to
an end and a new faces will be joining the Exco for the new term…the end of a
term, represents the beginning of a new term. Yes, the phrase "an end is a new
beginning" suggests that when something comes to an end, it often paves the way
for a new beginning or opportunity. It implies that the conclusion of one phase or
event marks the start of something fresh and different. This idea can apply to
various aspects of life, such as relationships, projects, careers, or even personal
growth. Endings can be challenging or bittersweet, but they also offer the potential
for growth, learning, and the start of new experiences. But end or beginning, I
assure you I will lead you all to victory today. Because every time you are in a
Toastmaster’s session, it’s a small victory in itself. Don’t you all agree?
On that note, let me explain how a toastmaster’s session is conducted.
Any Toastmaster’s meeting is divided into three parts. The first part consists of
prepared speeches where members prepare in advance for a 5 to 7 minute speech,
get it mentored and deliver the same. The second part is the fun filled Table Topic
session where anyone from the audience can come up and give a 1 to 2 minute
speech on a topic given by the Table Topic Master. And the third part is the most
important evaluation section where our GE or General Evaluator for the day will
give a report on the entire meeting today. Having said that, let me invite on the
stage our GE for the day – TM ……………………………………... Can we have a big round

That was a fantastic prepared speech session, give a big round of
applause for all the speakers. Wish if we could hear more speeches… Lucky for our

Thank you Mr. GE for the insightful and educational evaluation session. The
motto "Embrace the Endings, Embrace the Beginnings" encourages us to see
every ending in life as a chance for a fresh start. Instead of dwelling on what has
passed, we are reminded to embrace the closure and look forward to new
opportunities and beginnings that await us. It urges us to approach endings with
optimism, knowing that they mark the beginning of exciting new journeys and
experiences. By embracing both the endings and beginnings, we can navigate
life's transitions with resilience and enthusiasm. I would like to thank the tag
team for their support, mr.GE TM………………………………for encouraging me for the
TMOD role, BTMC for the opportunity, all members present for being a great
audience. Let us all look at the sunset and get ready for a new beginning
