Narrative Report

Registration of participants started at 1:00 pm. Fifteen minutes later, all participants
were inside the venue. Right after, the program started with the singing of Pilipinas Kong
Mahal, prayer and Pangasinan Hymn with the aid of audio-visual presentations. Genoveva E.
Ballesteros, Principal I of Buenlag National High School gave the opening remarks.

The first speaker was Hernando Abalos, a SH teacher form CAlasiao Comprehensive
NHS, who talked about the “Test Preparation and Administration.” Through his talk, teachers
were updated on how to prepare test questions and how to administer quarterly
examinations.

To break the ice, Arjay U. Peralta, facilitated an unfreezing activity. Brains were in
full blast when he asked teachers to find the phrase behind a diagram.

Danilo Soriano, the second speaker and also a SH teacher from CAlasiao
Comprehensive NHS, talked about the Updates on the Preparation of Table of Specifications
(TOS). He gave teachers a sample of an automated table of specification and how to use it.
He also clearly explained the rationale behind the use of TOS.

Right after the last talk, Principal Ballesteros with Ruth Carlet, SLAC Coordinator and
Susana Flores, Head Teacher III, awarded certificate of recognition to the two speakers.

Participants were also asked to critique each other’s test papers and TOS.
Afterwards, there was an open forum.

Lorna V. Maynigo, MT-I, gave the closing remarks.

All participants and facilitators had their snack after the SLAC.
