Environmental Pollution is a problem, which steadily aggravates the
quality of life of the inhabitants of the city of Arequipa.
Solid waste is as old as humanity itself and is produced by the different
people activities. As the human being settled, forming villages and
concentrated in the cities, the problem of solid waste generation became
more acute because its accumulation was greater; Consequently, diseases
and animals that propagated them were proliferating. The human being in
his interaction with the environment has always been faced with the
problem of management of your waste. This problem increased when
people concentrated in centers urban areas, increasing the amount of
waste generated and making it increasingly difficult to disposition of these
This research work aims to determine the impact on the health of the
population of the city of Arequipa, this being the main contribution of this
study. For the realization of this research, the inductive method has been
applied, counting on information processed and reliably provided by the
public organizations directly involved in the subject, which was used to
establish the degree of relationship between the variables under study.
The Automotive Park as a polluting agent, the Particulate Material as the
polluting substance and the number of incidences of patients due to Acute
Respiratory Infections are the variables analyzed in the research carried
out that will allow the investigation to be addressed.
