Review of Related Literature and Studies

Popularity of Thrift Clothes

One of the important aspects in this world is the clothing business because clothes are essential

to everyone. It is use to protect us from weather, cover for our self and use it to decorate our body

that is why reuse clothes or thrift exist. Thrift business is important business so that the business

must track down better approaches to reuse existing materials, and makers might have the option

to assemble new assortments totally out of old materials eventually. In any case, that time is as yet

quite far off. Up to that point, the most reasonable attire is probably going to be one that isn't spic

and span by any means (Bain, 2019).

According to (Cabreza ,2001) states that after a tragic event in the Philippines in 1980's, the

Philippine Salvation Army would distribute donated clothing and other items to homeless people

and casualties as philanthropic relief. Baguio is reported to have had the first ukay-ukay in the

mid-1980s. It's also consistent with the verb wagwag, which refers to the act of getting a handle

toward one side and snapping it in the air to clean off a garment, and SM, which stands for segunda

mano (secondhand). The ukay-ukay came from two words, hukay and halukay, which respectively

mean "to dig" and "to filter through." The majority of the items on display at the ukay-ukay are

from North America or Europe.

According to the study of (Cagayan Valley Computer and Information Technology College

[CVCITC], n.d.) shows that thrift affects our shopping practices in a way of , sometimes we’ve

been addicted to it. It’s hard to resist buying more than to buy less because of low cost prices.
Some people acquire shopping addictions, according to (Engs, 2021) a scientific explanation for

that is our cerebrum which is part of our brain discharges a hormones called endorphins which

make us more endure buying a product. In same study , it also reveals that changing our lifestyle

of the masses in away of , it make us more fashionable person , due to the changes of shopping

practices that make us buy more , also it make us wear the thrift clothes that brought. That is also

proven this past few years about what we called aesthetic outfit by millennials, almost millennials

brought their hauls in thrift stores , Shops and live selling. Lastly, in the same study and findings

reveal that thrifting supplemented the textile clothing industry because due to the fact , thrifting is

now popular , many of the branded companies’ product has been not sold that is why it

supplemented the existence of the textile clothing industry.

Comprehensive studies have been conducted by (Bhardwaj & Fairhurst, 2010, p. 170) on

people's love to buy thrift due to the fact that thrift clothes are affordable. In comparison to their

retail counterparts, most charity stores offer exceptionally inexpensive costs. The more money you

can save, the better off you'll be. There's no better feeling than finding a fantastic used gem for a

fraction of the original price. Despite their lower cost, secondhand things are frequently of higher

quality than new items. It's a positive sign if it's lengthy enough to be contributed. The longer it

lasts, the less likely it is to end up in the landfill. One of the main reasons people buy thrift clothes

products is because one can get authentic designer items at crazy low prices.

According to (Locsin, 2007, p. 378), Filipinos love to buy thrift clothes because thrift Clothes

are fashionable and up-to-date. Individuals can now explore different avenues regarding design

since frugality clothing has become so in vogue. For that reason Filipinos appreciate looking for

ukay-ukay (frugality) clothing. It has advanced into a stylish sort of garments during the time spent

making another plan. Since thrift clothes is enduring, you can purchase everything at a sensible
cost. Considering this, it's nothing unexpected that the Philippines has a flourishing utilized clothes

industry. In some ways, it has become trendy. In the Philippines, fashion has become an enormous

industry.

Another Study by (Buzzo, A., & Abreu, M. J. ,2019) reveals that people love to buy thrift

clothes in particular because of sustainability. Ukay-ukay is sustainable because it is not easy to

consume all, it maintains the rate of reproduction of Clothes. Due to thrift clothes selling, some

branded clothes companies put a limit on reproduction of clothes, due to the fact that other Filipino

customers are buying now in ukay-ukay. The excessive consumption of fast fashion is also linked

to social media, and it raises challenges such as fashion sustainability and work standards within

businesses and their suppliers. On the other side, as people become more conscious of the

repercussions of their consumption, new ways of consuming and making fashion emerge that have

a lower environmental and social impact.

According to (Madarang, 2021) explained that thrift clothes become eco-friendly. Thrifting

can actually help you reduce your carbon footprint by reducing your reliance on imported clothing.

It can recirculate resources while delaying the appearance of textiles in landfills, according to

study. In addition to being good for the environment, thrifting is also good for people. Purchasing

used products minimizes the number of new items created as well as the necessity for someone to

produce them. So, while you can look for ethically sourced stuff, nothing beats recycled goods in

terms of ethics. Thrift culture contributes greatly to the sustainable fashion movement. Clothing

recycling helps to reduce the creation of even more clothing, which is good for the environment.

Thrifting allows us to give outdated clothes a new lease on life while also reducing the amount of

clothing that ends up in landfills or is exported overseas and burned. In fact, according to the
ThredUp statistic we referenced earlier, a used clothes item emits 82 percent less carbon than a

new piece.

According to the latest study by (Del Merced, 2021) shows that one of reasons why Filipino

hate ukay-ukay or thrift clothes is the quality. High-quality clothing is also important since it

improves a person's appearance. First and foremost, quality is important since it makes wearing

clothes more enjoyable. Clothing that is well-made feels better, and knowing that one's clothing is

of good quality can increase one's confidence. Nobody will buy a product that is flawed because

of its history or because of a manufacturing issue. Consider your wardrobe to be a long-term

investment. Quality products help to keep customers happy and loyal while reducing the risk and

cost of having to replace damaged items.

Another Study conducted by ( Chivers, n.d.) reveals the reason why people hate clothes that

is no different in size. Thrift clothes are products that have been used or a product that has not been

passed to the quality by the factory which means if a clothes becomes a thrift , it doesn’t have any

size that has the same design because it is already thrift. According to the study, it is shown that it

is one of the disadvantages of thrift clothes , you cannot choose the size you want to the particular

clothes.

On the other hand, ( Nair , 2019) , reveals that thrift clothes is a time consuming. Time

consuming because finding good quality clothes takes time , especially in thrifting , most of the

thrift clothes are defective. That's why they become cheap and thrifty. Due to that problem , it will

be time consuming to find good quality clothes.

Thrift Clothes as Successful Selling Product

According to (Park & Martinez, 2020) that thrift live selling or online selling is trending,

especially among young people. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, for all intents and purposes

everybody, youthful and old, has gone online to shop. The two venders and customers benefit from

this sort of business. As indicated by another gauge, the worth of the pre-owned garments market

in the United States is supposed to more than high pitch in the following decade. Since the strategy

is basic, speedy, charming, and productive, internet selling is an enormously fruitful business. The

pre-owned style market is supposed to ascend by 185%. Whenever thrift or online selling became

well known, basically everybody took a shot at it. You can sell anything on the internet.

According to (Fenol, 2021) , thrift selling can save money. This selling platform items are

extremely practical and sensible in estimating. Things that have been thrifted have been

appreciated by an earlier proprietor, however they are as a rule in great condition and have

sufficient life left to be helpful to another proprietor. Thrifting is characterized as shopping at a

secondhand shop, carport deal, or swap meet for previously owned items for a minimal price.

Selling clothes and second hand items, or that term in millennials “preloved”, are economical.

According to (Bigtas, 2021) , stated that 74% of Filipino consumers prefer purchasing pre-loved

items due to the affordable price. Filipinos prefer convenience, live selling and mobile payments

when shopping online, according to a Facebook study, as new trends emerge due to the COVID-

19 pandemic.

Another study conducted by (Mapa, 2022) assessed second hand or preloved clothes reshapes

the fashion industry. The Philippines has the largest number of consumers of second hand clothes.

Most people bought trendy clothes in thrift stores or ukay-ukay. Aside from its cheap and

affordable, branded high quality, it is fashionable clothes everyone can purchase. Second hand

clothes come from donations, from places like China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, US, and other
Western and Eastern counties, in the year December 2021. These countries are very known for

their fashion sense. One way to help the environment is to reduce our fashion's environmental

impact through sustainable fashion, which can be provided by selling thrift clothing. We can

reduce waste by selling secondhand clothing. According to Secondary Materials and Recycling

Textiles [SMART], up to 95 percent of textiles that end up in landfills each year could be reused.

This is concerning when you consider that just one t-shirt produces 7 kilograms of CO2 (Davies,

2021). Both people and the environment can benefit by selling thrift clothes. Consumption of style

is linked to the purchase of environmentally friendly clothing.

In business, technology is critical. Technology aids in the improvement of the efficiency of

systems, products, and services. It aids in the tracking and streamlining of processes, the

maintenance of data flow, and the management of contacts and employee records. In fact, this

increased efficiency in operation helps reduce costs as well as enable the business to grow rapidly

(Importance of Technology in Business - Digital Marketing, n.d.). We are now in the information

age. Businesses benefit more in this age, it is convenient, accessible, and easy with just one tap on

the screen of our gadgets .

According to research from (Global Wellness Institute [GWI], 2018) that one of the most

potent and effective marketing tactics of all time is "entertainment talks." One of the most effective

ways to sell items is through personal connection in a social setting. Every day, the ordinary

individual is bombarded with hundreds of advertisements, many of which are meant to catch the

subconscious mind's attention. Competing emotions such as want, greed, fear, pleasure, grief, and

humor may easily overwhelm and distract the conscious mind, which is in charge of rational

thinking and sophisticated decision making. Sales professionals may immediately contact huge
numbers of clients at a minimal cost by integrating "Entertainment Talks" with social media

platforms like Facebook.

According to (Bous, 2021) stated that giveaways have long been a successful marketing

strategy. Giveaways were used before the internet age to draw attention to their products or

companies. With the introduction of social media, freebies for marketing purposes haven't changed

much , they're simply a lot easier to execute now. There's no better way to get people enthused

about your brand than by holding a fun contest. Giveaways are another wonderful approach to get

people to watch your live broadcast. However, if you want to gain brand awareness, you must host

your freebies properly.

According to ( The Importance of Store Cleanliness ,2020) it stated that clean settings have

always been favored by customers. Customers, on the other hand, have never been more concerned

about store cleanliness than they are now. Customers prefer stores that sterilize, wipe down

shelves, and tidy product areas on a regular basis over those that don't. Providing a clean retail

environment is more important to them now than it has ever been. Commercial zone is committed

to offering garbage receptacles and clean solutions for all types of environments.

In the study of (Lazzari, 2019) understanding the impact of business to consumer behavior.

Shoppers answer business strategies, while organizations answer purchaser patterns in a two-

manner association. Here and there, the business affects buyer conduct, however that effect is

relying upon factors presented by the shopper and the whole client base. Shopper conduct, then

again, affects the business side of the situation. Customer conduct changes constantly, contingent

upon the economy, dispensable cash, feelings, and irregularity. To further develop deals while

cultivating brand reliability, the organization is continually endeavoring to answer client impacts
and purchasing propensities. The business side is worried about expanding income, while the

customer needs to make informed buys.

According to (Raner, 2021) states that bogus selling affects your business. Bogus selling or

bogus seller is a way of Sellers use to attract more customers , saying that their product is good ,

high quality and effective but it also affects your business , in a way of losing the customer's trust.

The relationship between a customer and a seller is just as vital and important as any other. the last

buy the client makes. In this investigation discovered that 69% of customers "are substantially less

or more averse to shop with a retailer later on the off chance that a thing they bought isn't conveyed

in no less than two days of the date guaranteed. Late conveyances decline your client consistency

standard. The interaction closes when the buy shows up at the client's home on schedule and in

great condition. Thus, late conveyances definitely decline your client lifetime esteem.

Live Sellers Cope Mechanism to Attract Viewers and Increase Sales

According to the study of (Hessinger, 2018) reveals that advertising is one of best cope

mechanisms of sellers. Small business advertising enjoys a few benefits, including drawing in new

clients and helping you in offering more items and administrations to existing clients. Spreading

the news about your new item can assist you with selling more. Publicizing for online organizations

can carry guests to a point of arrival where they can be changed over into clients. The more new

clients you draw in through publicizing, the more verbal exchange those customers will spread to

their loved ones. Publicizing in a roundabout way supports the development of informal exchange

references. It can likewise assist with expanding request size, which can help benefits. If essential,

promoting can assist with working on obsolete or terrible impressions about your organization.

Assuming that an organization as of now has an item or administration, publicizing could make
clients aware of enhancements. Your organization's perceivability is kept up with through

publicizing.

A re-stream article by the study of (Bybyk, 2020) stated that re-streaming is a coping

mechanism of live sellers to achieve their sales goals. Live selling every day will help your

business to achieve your intended sales in a way to replace the days when the income from live

selling was small and not good enough to achieve your sales goals. Sometimes extra work will

help you replace those missing sales you needed.

According to Barnhart(2021) who studied the building community with Facebook groups is

one of the coping mechanisms of sellers. Group individuals, as it were, can be your most

committed clients. You're taking care of the calculation precisely what it needs assuming you

persistently distribute to your Group and your crowd responds to it or posts material themselves.

As per Facebook, the site advances material from groups with which individuals interface

frequently. Consider an individual joining your Facebook groups as a pick in. You might become

familiar with what your clients want and what you can do by responding to them and clarifying

pressing issues. You might associate with your clients on a more private level through Facebook

Groups. Since groups require individuals and executives to distribute from individual records, they

are great for interfacing individuals.

According to the study of (Peterson, 2020) stated that Direct selling is another way to achieve

sales. The current study differs from previous self-efficacy research in that it investigates: 1)

whether a direct selling experience can improve business-related and personal life self-efficacy in

and of itself; and 2) whether business-related and personal life self-efficacy are related to self-

reported sales performance and non-selling job performance. Direct selling experience benefited

both professional and personal life abilities, according to data collected from present and past
direct sellers. Furthermore, current direct salesmen were almost certain than past direct sales reps

to accept that their immediate selling experience had expanded their self-viability and that they

were more effective as immediate advertisers than others in their firm. Self-efficacy was linked to

self-reported sales performance and performance on a non-direct selling job in a substantial way.

Both the practical and theoretical ramifications of the findings are significant.

A study from (Deyoung & Glennon et al., 2019) reveals that lending is another way to achieve

the sales goals. A business advance will take care of the forthright expenses of development,

permitting you to zero in on productive development. It empowers you to enter another market,

present new items, or grow your present area. Our discoveries add to the independent company

credit writing and proposition knowledge into how SBA assets could be better used.

According to ( Lv & Wang et al., 2020) shows that discount pricing is another way to achieve

the sales goals. To boost wise client conduct, effective internet based retail models have provoked

stages to foster various rebate evaluating instruments for online coupons. Since limits draw in more

clients, you will have more forthcoming buyers for different things in your business, as the vast

majority will peruse to see what you bring to the table prior to making a buy.

Related Studies

In the study of Lockett(2018) evaluated online selling strategies for expanding deals and

incomes of small business organizations.. The motivation behind this subjective numerous

contextual analysis was to investigate the systems some entrepreneurs use to carry out online

selling promoting to increase derivative sales. The study's findings verified the importance of new

technology, as well as the importance of using the right platform, hiring experienced people, and

overcoming obstacles. Employing the right people, using successful advertising methods, and
picking explicit online material are all of these elements are required for small business owners to

increase derivative sales through internet marketing tactics.A total of four themes emerged from

the data gathering and analysis, including (a) social media platforms and tactics, (b) online

marketing strategies and problems, (c) online content strategies, and (d) follow-up methods. In this

study, data was collected through (a) semi structured face-to-face interviews, (b) an examination

of the companies' public documents, (c) a review of the companies' websites, and (d) a review of

small retail's social media sites. The goal of the data gathering was to learn about the tactics used

by business executives to deploy online marketing and boost derivative sales. Furthermore, data

collection and analysis indicated effective tactics utilized by business owners to market online,

create client relationships, and foster community growth. The necessity of communication in the

retail industry was emphasized by all of the attendees. In this study, all business leaders took part

in social media advertising, which raised firm sales by at least 25% within six months of adoption.

In order to improve brand exposure, grow, and ensure sustainability, company executives built

direct contacts inside the community.

According to the research of (Hsu & Chang , 2019) studied the consumers purchasing

factors through facebook online live selling. This study mainly focuses on understanding the key

factors which influence their motivation of purchasing livestream ecommerce. Giving ideas and

advance studies for future live selling ecommerce examples. The purpose of this research is to

better understand the factors that influence consumer purchasing intentions. Based on the literature

analysis, the study developed three hypotheses, all of which have been shown to influence

consumer purchase intent. Based on the findings, we may assume that when consumers use

Facebook livestream ecommerce to make purchases. Conformity will most likely affect their

decision to buy the product. Aside from interacting with the vendor via real-time chat, the user
may also examine other consumers' opinions and reviews on the goods, which may pique their

interest in purchasing it. Finally, livestream's real-time engagement has been shown to influence

consumer purchase intent. This study's findings could serve as a model for future livestream

ecommerce platforms. Furthermore, serve as evidence for businesses interested in expanding their

business model and plans to include livestream ecommerce. In recent years, the traditional

ecommerce market has faced numerous challenges. Many businesses have turned to using

livestream services to offer a variety of goods. Because the study only looked at people who buy

clothes on livestream, future research could look at a different audience or use alternative

livestream platforms. As an alternative, target consumers who have never used a livestream service

previously in order to have a better understanding of the service's potential usefulness. This study

could be used as a starting point for future research into the differences across different livestream

ecommerce.

Based on the study of (Central Luzon State University, n.d.) who studied the effective

marketing strategies among ukay-ukay vendors. This study will be conducted in order to help raise

the demand for thrift clothes by assisting ukay-ukay sellers in understanding successful marketing

tactics to be used in their ukay-ukay business. This study intends to investigate if the ukay-ukay

business is profitable and a good source of income, allowing the customer to set up their own ukay-

ukay stand. The goal of this study is to improve an ukay-ukay vendor's performance in developing

an effective marketing strategy, which will result in increased demand for secondhand clothing.

The research will concentrate on the marketing methods that ukay-ukay vendors can employ. It

will also show the typical revenue of ukay-ukay vendors as well as the challenges they face on a

daily basis. Finally, the respondents who own ukay-ukay are located in San Jose City, Nueva

Ecija's public market. The thrift vendors used a variety of marketing methods, including: discounts,
finding the correct location, and seller qualities, but the most effective marketing technique in

selling ukay-ukay garments, according to the data collected by the researcher, is delivering

discounts to clients with a 100 percent yes response by the respondents. According to the statistics

gathered, selling thrift garments is a good source of income, with 90 percent of respondents saying

yes. Eighty percent of thrift vendors responded that selling ukay-ukay garments is a challenge for

them as well. This study will aid other ukay-ukay suppliers in their quest to learn more about the

industry. Customers who desire to start their own ukay-ukay business will find marketing methods

useful.

This chapter presents the tabulated result, analysis and interpretation of data

gathered from the respondents including the efficiency of the different strategies of thrift

live sellers to attract viewers and increase sales. This chapter aims to provide an answer

to the research question and its findings and specific goals in a systematic manner.

I. Profile

a. Age

Age Frequency Percentage

17-22 23 56.1%

23-28 9 21.95%
29-34 6 14.63%

35-40 3 7.32%

Total 41 100%

The table shows the age of the respondents. It can be seen that the total respondents

of this research is composed of 41 thrift clothes live seller from Cagayan De Oro ,

Balingasag and El Salvador. The highest number of participants were 17-22 years old

which has a 56% or ( over one-half) of the total participant. While the lowest number of

participants were 35- 40 years old which has a 7% only.

According to the study of Holland (2021) shows that youngster love thrift clothes than

others, particularly the Gen Z or Generation Z which have a year range of 1997 to 2012

which is the age range of our 56% respondents. Gen Z sees thrifting as a lifestyle because

it shows them unique fashion. Some of the generation Z thrifters become a seller of thrift

clothes and also this generation known as fashion conscious generation in which they’re

more conscious of what they wear and that is why over one-half of our sellers or

respondents are part of generation Z or people who are born in the year 1997-2012.

b. Gender

Gender Frequency Percentage

Male 4 9.8%

Female 34 82.9%

Total 41 100%
The table shows the gender of the respondents . As presented in the table , the

highest number of Gender who respond our research is female which has a 34 responds

and has a 83%. While male has a responds of 4 and has a 10% only and the lowest

number of gender who respond our research is LGBT+ which has a 3 respond and 7%

only.

This implies that the majority of the respondents are female. The proponents

conclude based on their answers on respondents' survey. According to Zarya(2015)

reveals that women continue to be the primary who stay at home and also it stated that

having an online store allows woman to do selling while also pursuing other interests and

supporting their family. Also one of the reason why almost of the sellers are women

because woman have more interest in fashion and have a unique talent in selling thrift

clothes than man which can conclude the reason behind of the result of the data gathered

in this research.

business. Unfortunately, there were no participants (0%) answer due to boredom as

their reason of engaging in this business.

According to Gardner(2022) tells that reason behind why everyone want to have

extra income or additional income because she believes that earning extra money can

completely transform someone's life. It can help to stop living paycheck to paycheck, pay

off your debt, and much more. Also most of our respondents in our research is a student

and the reason could be that why they engage in this business because they want extra

income for their allowance and other school expenses. This implies the result of our

survey.

According to the study of Chiquone(n.d.) shows that the pandemic really affected the

ecommerce world in a good way, since due to lockdown in whole world , consumers be

more active online , and the consumers found online shopping convenient. People are

increasingly inclined to shop online when traditional shopping becomes difficult or even

frightening. That could be the reason why 63% of our respondents in this research

respond less than 1 year in how long they engage in this business since we are still in the

pandemic until now.

Table 3

Hours Frequency Percentage

half (46%) of the respondents respond 1 hour as their approximate live length. While

less than 1 hour and 4 hours above have a same amount of respond (7%) and being the

least respond , 3 hours live length has only 4.88% respond.

According to Aguas(2021 ) shows that the best hour to do live selling is 7-8pm because

it is the only time for consumers to hold there phone a lot in a day. 7-8pm is a one hour

live selling time length which is found successful and effective because 1 hour is a golden

hour for live sellers since it is not to long and not to short , it is define as same as the

sunset which only take 1 hour for consumer to watch. This will implies why almost one-

half of the respondents answered 1 hour as their effective time length in engaging live

selling.

Everyday 3 7.32%

Total 41 100%

Table 4 reveals the frequency of participants in engaging live selling in a week. 63%

of the participant shows that they only engage in live selling 2 times in a week.

According to Murphy(2021) reveals that the best day to do live selling in Facebook

are Thursday and Friday since this two days is special for the consumer because it is the

only time for the week they will have time to scroll in social medias since the week is

about to end and also the other day like , Saturday and Sunday are the consumer’s time

to rest after a whole week of work and Monday to Wednesday are the most busy day for

everyone specially those consumers who have work. This could conclude and implies why

sellers only engage two times a week.

to attracting viewers and boosting sales?

Question 6: What do you think is the most effective strategy for ukay-ukay

live-selling you have used? Rank the different strategies, 3 being the highest

and 1 as the least

Table 6

In table 6 shows the ranking of strategies of the respondents. It shows in the table

above that in the rank 1, 68% of respondents says that the most effective strategy they

used is entertainment talk. In rank 2, Raffles is the got the highest respond with 59%

During your live stream, you should interact with your viewers directly. One of the

most crucial lessons for your live stream is this (Hall, 2022). We watch things for the

entertainment value, and internet selling is no different. The majority of the more

interesting merchants are entertaining to watch. When it comes to going live, some

people can even come up with interesting and entertaining techniques (FluxPanda, 2022).

Remember that real-time communication is the primary reason for live streaming's
popularity! Make an effort to engage your audience, respond to their inquiries, and make

them feel as if you are just there for them. Invite others to your broadcast and engage

in informative and amusing conversations with your viewers (Bybyk, 2020).

Raffles are an impressive technique to increase sales and they never fail to brighten

the mood. Creating raffle ticket incentives encourages customers to spend more and stays

longer. A raffle ticket promotion will entice customers to remain longer at your

establishment, at least until the raffle draw (SENPOS, 2020).

Customers can use promo code to see if they have the greatest offer on the market

in their shopping basket. Furthermore, with the correct software, you can put time

constraints to discount coupons, which will cut checkout page bounce rates and

encourage hesitant clients to take action to by your product (Somoye, n.d.).

Vouchers can assist in the introduction of new product lines as well as persuade clients

to try a more profitable brand or service. Vouchers can also encourage returning

customers to visit your business. You're telling loyal customers that you cherish them and

continuing to develop brand value by delivering exclusive offers. Voucher codes can be

used to not only keep customers coming back to you, but also to turn loyal customers

into brand influencers ( Somoye, n.d.)

your sales especially in live-selling. It has the potential to transform your business, but

jumping in without a plan will not yield the outcomes you desire. You'll need to take a

methodical, step-by-step approach to live selling (Kats, 2022). "It may appear simple, but

it takes effort to make it work," Kats explained. "Selling via live broadcast differs from

selling in person or through other channels. As a results , Every time the seller do add

some strategies to gain viewers , the snowball effects will work , that is when a customers

suggest your business to other customer , and that’s how they get new viewers ( Hall,

2022).

increase sales. By these strategies that sellers/respondents used they can double their

sales. Strategies are form of foundation of your business. Strategies helps us in

characterizing our business, as well as giving it a bunch of values and a feeling of

direction. .

The regulatory environment in the country also makes it difficult for internet service

Consumer research shows that live selling has increased by 76% since COVID began

(Hall, 2022). Everyone is getting into the live selling game, from shops like Amazon and

Walmart to social media sites like Facebook and Instagram. And it's easy to see why: Live

online selling allows merchants and influencers to display things while also providing

shoppers with a real-time look at products that they can't get from product listings alone.

It's an e-commerce behemoth because it blends the convenience of online purchasing

with the immediacy of livestreamed events and the marketing power of word-of-mouth
