7. ALAT PELINDUNG PERNAPASAN
Dalam wilayah pertambangan , khususnya daerah
proses banyak dipergunakan bahan kimia yang
efeknya akan merusak kesehatan para karyawan
yang bekerja di tempat itu kalau tidak menggunakan
alat pelindung diri yang sesuai.
Untuk mencegah kerugian terhadap kesehatan para
karyawan yang bekerja di tempat itu, harus taat
menggunakan APD sesuai aturan yang telah
ditetapkan.
Program ini dibuat untuk mengkoordinasikan pada
pemakaian dan perawatan alat pelindung pernafasan
yang perlu segera ditetapkan untuk.
1. Mengurangi bahaya yang terpapar kepada
karyawan
2. Memberi izin karyawan untuk bekerja aman
didalam lingkungan yang berpotensi
bahaya.
Program perlindungan pernafasan diterapkan pada
daerah yang telah ditetapkan dimana alat
pernafasan diperlukan.
Karyawan harus menggunakan perlindungan
pernafasan bersamaan dengan keperluan intruksi
dan pelatihan yang telah diterima.
Karyawan harus bertanggungjawab untuk
pengawasan dan kebersihan alat bantu pernafasan.
Karyawan harus melaporkan apabila terdapat kondisi
tidak memenuhi syarat yang berkaitan dengan
program perlindungan pernafasan kepada pengawas
mereka.
Misalnya tidak jelas, tanda yang tidak dapat terbaca,
kegagalan pemakaian dalam rancangan tehnik , atau
kegagalan pemakaian pada alat pelindung
pernafasan.
Daerah yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan untuk
dibutuhkan alat pernafasan, hanya alat bantu
pernafasan yang dizinkan oleh National Institute
Occupational Safety and Health atau perlengkapan
tubuh lain yang diizinkan
Alat pernafasan harus dipilih dengan dasar pada
potensi bahaya terhadap karyawan .
Penetapan adanya bahaya berdasarkan pengukuran
potensi terpaparnya pecemaran udara oleh
departemen Hygiene perusahaan.
Karyawan yang dikehendaki untuk menggunakan
alat pernafasan seharusnya menerima pelatihan,
bagaimana cara menggunakan yang benar,
pemeliharaan, dan batasan penggunaan dari alat
pernafasan tersebut.
7. RESPIRATION PROTECTION
In the mining site , especially operation area which
using chemical substances is could be danger to
employees who worked in the area if do not proper
and adequate personal protective equipment.
To prevent the loss of health on the area, employees
must be obey to wear PPE regarding to the safety
regulation designated.
This program is made to coordinate of usage and
maintenance of the respiration protection need to be
designated immediately, for:
1. Reduction hazardous potential on
employees.
2. Permission is given to employees who
worked in hazardous potential area.
The Respiration protection program implemented
on the designated area which need respiration
protection equipment.
The employee must wear respiration protection
equipment regards to instruction and training as
they have been received.
The employees have responsibility to their
respiration protection device for controlling and
to clean them up.
The employees must report the un condition
situation in relation to respiration protection
program to their foremen or supervisors. As
follows:
Unclear and unreadable signs, failure to the
technical design and usage of respiration
protection equipment.
The designation area by company for respiration
protection or other PPE usage only base on
permission of National Institute Occupational
Safety and Health.
The respiration protection equipment must be
selected base on the hazard potential on
employees.
Specification for hazard base on air pollution
potential presence measurement of Hygiene
Department of company.
The employees are required to wear respiration
protection equipments must to have training
relating to right usage and maintenance of the
equipments.
