2023 GRADUATION/MOVING UP CONFIRMATION RITES

To: School Heads - Elementary, Secondary and Integrated Schools

All others concerned

1. Through the MATATAG: Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa Agenda, the Department of
Education pledge to be matatag for our learners, educators, partners, and stakeholders in establishing a
nation that values its youth, and a Filipino youth that values its nation.

2. As stipulated in the DepEd Order NO. 9, S. 2023 entitled “ An order Updating the Implementing
Guidelines on the Conduct of the K TO 12 Basic Education Program End of-School-Year (EOSY)
Rites” the theme for this year’s ceremony is “ Gradweyt ng K to 12: Hinubog ng Matatag na
Edukasyon ( K to 12 Graduates: Molded through a Resilient Educational Foundation).

3. All Graduation Rites and Moving Up Ceremonies shall be conducted not earlier than July 10, 2023
or not later than July 14, 2023.7.9

4. In connection with this, all School Heads are instructed to attend the conduct of graduation/moving
up ceremonies of the different schools within the district. They will represent the Schools Division
Superintendent during the confirmation of graduates and completers. For your guidance and reference
schedule of the graduation and moving up ceremonies of schools in the district and assigned
confirming official are hereto attached.

5. This district memorandum serves as Travel Authority of the concerned personnel.

6. Tracvelling and other incidental expenses incurred by the School Heads who will facilitate the
confirmation of graduation and moving up ceremonies shall be charged against the school MOOE and
other school funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
