With tons of religion and even more celebrations,

A land of many colourful festivals…

C I am Malay,

(Solo) He is Chinese

(Solo) She is Indian

In Malaysia everyone is a part of all the festivals.

The days with happy faces,

yummy dishes and enjoyable dances,

and most importantly fireworks!

It’s the month of Ramadhan


The holy month where Muslims all over the world are fasting,

they fast all through the day,

(Front Row) from the wee hours of dawn

(Back Row) to the orange skied dusk.

(All) No food, No drinks,

(Solo) Not even a drop of water?

(All) NOPE!

(Solo) And not to mention, no wrongdoings or harbouring ill thoughts too!

(All) And at night, Tarawih prayers are held in mosques all over the country

The very blessed month...

“Tokwan’s rendang is ready, ermmm smells so good”

Eid Mubarak is coming

The balik kampung mood is on…

Oh oh oh balik kampung…

Ketupat, Rendang, and arrays of Raya Cookies

Along with the colourful baju kurung and baju melayu,

all come together painting a picture of joy and happiness

Eid Mubarak!

And don’t forget the children always asking for

Now it’s time for Chinese New Year.

The red angpow cheer up the kids

The Mandarin oranges bring up the smiles.


The cheongsam makes people so beautiful

The celebration of the first month of the Chinese calendar brings forth so much happiness

And Prosperity!

Deepavali is a festival of lights

Full of colours and sweets

Just like in Bollywood movies

Where everyone is wearing colourful sarees and kurtas

And you can see your favourite stars

Shah Rukh Khan, Amir Khan, Salman Khan,

All the nights become bright

Murukku being the delight

With Malaysian taste and flavour
