iE3 Updating Manual

1) Preparation

1. Remove AC/DC power and disassemble the machine, keep all cables connected.
2. Use a sub hat to short circuit the pin 5&7 like below.

2) Upgrade Steps:
1. USB flash disk or SD card (hereinafter referred to as ‘external memory’, its format must be FAT32 format
with storage space > 100M), can be used to upgrade ECG machine.
2. Extract ‘iE 3_App_Biocare_V1.00.0012.rar’ to root directory of USB flash disk, must get a folder named
‘iE3’, its contents should be as below:
3. Backup important data.
4. During upgrading, keep stable power supply and never remove external memory.
5. Insert the USB flash disk into USB port of machine.
6. Power on iE3, select [Menu].

7. Select [Factory Maintain].

8. Enter password “5837”.

9. Select [Software Update]
10. In [Software Pos.], select correct external memory.

11. Select [Enable] to update the resource files.

12. Select [Start] to start updating software.

13. Wait for minutes, when “Update Application OK. Please Restart.” appears,
Unplug the sub hat.
Restart the machine, software upgrading success.
14.unplug the USB key.
