RESIDENTIAL DEEP CLEAN CHECKLIST
General
□ Dust all door frames
□ Sanitize all doors and door handles
□ Dust all light fixtures
□ Dust all sliding door tracks
□ Dust and wash all baseboards
□ Dust all vents and fans
□ Dust all shelving, ledges, wall decor and
artwork dusted (when possible)
□ Clean all mirrors and glass surfaces
□ Sanitize all light switches
□ All flooring and carpets swept and vacuumed
□ All flooring thoroughly mopped
Bedroom(s)
□ Wash and dry all fitted sheets, flat sheets,
pillowcases and duvet cover
□ Make up beds neatly with clean linens, using
your lint roller throughout the process
□ Check under the bed for any items and/or
garbage
□ Dust and sanitize all reachable surfaces,
including night tables, bed ledges, bed
headboard, shelves, pictures, lamps, decor,
blinds, etc.
□ All interior windows cleaned
□ All window sills and ledges dusted
□ All mirrors and glass surfaces cleaned
□ Vacuum underneath and behind all furniture
(where possible) and under area rugs
Kitchen
□ Garbage, recycling and compost disposed
□ Sanitize inside and outside of garbage bins
□ Clean inside oven (including grates)
□ Clean stove top (burner plates/grills/ceramic
tops)
□ Degrease range hood and soak exhaust fan
filter in hot water and dish soap, then rinse and
replace
□ Wash exterior of appliances like stove and
fridge
□ Clean inside and outside of all cupboards,
drawers, and appliances
□ Check plates, glasses, cutlery, utensils to
ensure they are clean
□ Scrub kitchen backsplash
Laundry
□ Tidy and organize laundry room and products
□ Clean exterior of washer and dryer (top, front,
sides) cleaned
□ Wash floor surrounding the machines
□ Empty both washer and dryer
□ Empty lint trap
Living Room
□ Dust vents, light fixtures, door frames, window
ledges, shelves,tables, pictures, decor, etc.
□ Clean all windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
□ Vacuum underneath couch cushions
□ Vacuum underneath and behind all furniture
(where possible) and under area rugs
□ Clean the inside of the HVAC system, removing
all dust from inside (if applicable)
□ Dust in between and behind radiator units (if
applicable)
Bathroom(s)
□ Garbage, recycling and compost disposed
□ Sanitize inside and outside of garbage bins
□ Scrub and sanitize bathtub and shower including
grout, tiles, and glass
□ All drains cleared of hair
□ Clean inside and outside of toilet (top, lids, front,
and sides)
□ Scrub the countertop and sink and polish all
chrome fixtures
□ Wash outside of cupboards and drawers
□ Dust vents, fans,and light fixtures
□ Wash inside, outside, and underneath
microwave
□ Thorough cleaning of coffee maker including
spill tray
□ Scrub sink using scouring pad and hot water
