• Emerson reserves the right to reject the hold request by the sales office should it be determined to be not feasible
and will continue to execute the order. For this case, the storage delay charges section in OED II shall be applied.
• If feasible, order delay charges quotations shall be sent to sales office. Change request with charges shall be
entered within the 7 calendar days validity period.
• If change request is not received within the validity period, then the factory will continue to execute the order until
the change request is received. The chargeable amount will be evaluated based on the order status at the time of
receiving the change request.
Hold Definition:
For all change order quotations, the item will “Proceed”, until the order is officially placed on “Hold” by issuing a Hold Change
Order by the sales office. The following below definitions apply.
Proceed (Default) − All work will continue as if no change was coming. The customer will be responsible for any
additional charges that will be incurred due to the work being continued beyond the change order quote validity period.
Hold − All work will stop if possible. All front end activities (order entry, engineering, and drafting) are stopped; all supplier
PO’s are placed on hold (due to timing some PO’s are not able to be put on hold); machining, assembly, and boxing
activities are stopped if possible. The customer needs to be informed that lead time on documentation and equipment
will be affected. Customer is responsible for any cost incurred up to the point of the hold being placed, this includes
non−stock materials, order engineering and drafting work that is no longer useable based on the customer change.
Soft Change:
This type of change typically doesn’t affect order engineering or manufacturing, unless it delays shipment.
Examples:
D PO Change D Inspection waived
D Ship to Address D Requested ship date changed (may be subject to storage
D Ship via (method) fees)
D Ship Notes D Add expediting fees
D Forwarder information/Export information changed D Do not ship before date change (may be subject to storage
D Project Services (e.g., PMF−023) fees)
D Territory Commission D Pricing
D Add CRN cert (Canadian Registration Number) D Add NACE Cert with no part number change
Non−Construction Change:
This type of change affects order engineering and involves an order or order/item change. However, risk of material
scrap is low. Manufacturing rework costs are low if prior to release to assembly. Examples:
D Orientation (instrument, actuator & handwheel) − D Signature Series
with no material change
D Drawing added or drawing requirement changed D Flow direction
D Tubing & Fittings (from standard) D Unit measurement (PSNP option)
D Tag or Nameplate change D PSID codes or documentation added
D DVC diagnostic tier D Witness inspection
D Change paint (from standard) D Change of boxing type / packaging
D Add epoxy paint report D Add DFT Witness (Dry Film Witness)
D Bench set (without spring change) D Add Certs (non−CSP)
D Add instrument D Leakage class (without construction change)
D Add M20 adaptor D Add sunshade
D Change gland packing material (from standard) D Add instrument or accessory mounting
D Add NACE Cert with part number change
Minor Construction Change (for standard OED I valves in WCC, LCC, or CF8M):
This type of change affects ordering engineering, material sourcing, and manufacturing where the scrap and rework
material costs are relatively minor compared to the effort to implement the change. Examples:
D Orientation change spring & diaphragm actuator, including instruments with material changes
D Bench set (with spring change)
D Trim change: NPS 1 to 6 (standard trim only, e.g., Linear, EQ%, Quick Opening and trims which don’t need
engineering. Severe service trim is not applicable)
D Fisher actuator change of model, size, travel, fail mode with no change in valve yoke boss size
D Change bolting material (from standard)
D Change stem/shaft material/size (from standard)
D Leakage class (with trim modification)
D Change / add / remove standard airset
D Add accessory (solenoid, booster, etc.)
D Add packing
D Change instrument mounting
Cancellation Change Order charges are comprised of the following two costs:
Non−forecasted or special ordered parts / components cost:
The cost for non−forecasted, customer special, or buyout parts and components is determined at the time of the cancellation. This
cost will be added to the above charges based on the manufacturing costs incurred up to that point.
All non−forecasted or special buyout parts / components which have been procured or manufactured for a now cancelled order
will be scrapped within 30 days. These products are not available for purchase by the customer at the cancellation charge.
Final cost will be determined by the Change Order Owner.
Assembly cost:
The assembly cost is determined by said order’s status within the factory assembly cycle. The stages and corresponding
percentages of invoice value are:
Assembly Cycle Stage Cancellation Costs
After receipt of order/prior to release to Mfg. 10% or $175 minimum
Released to Manufacturing 20% of Invoice Value
Units Built (but not yet boxed) 25% of Invoice Value
Boxed (ready to be shipped) 30% of Invoice Value
Plus any cost of non−standard boxing
A cancellation is defined as each reduction in quantity of models or part numbers per order.
The first resize is free of charge, all other resizing and selection engineering is chargeable. The resize and selection charge
covers resubmiital of the data sheets and calculations as part of the calculation, even if product doesn’t change.
These options only apply to process conditions or data sheet changes made after order award.

Control Valve Spec Sheet Data for Intergraph SmartPlantt Instrumentation (SPI)
Many EPC’s use Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) to specify instrumentation such as control valves when
designing process plants. SPI is used by over 80% of EPC’s.
Fisher and Intergraph have standardized on a “FF2−to−SPI data file” to transfer control valve spec sheet data from Fisher
First 2 (FF2) into Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI). The same “FF2−to−SPI data file” can be used to populate
either the Fisher control valve specification sheet (SPI Form 90) or an EPC’s custom control valve spec sheet form in SPI.
To import into SPI, the EPC must have Intergraph SPI 2009 or later.
Non−Standard Price (standard base discount or market factor applies) with 10% commission.
Special DDP:
This Special DDP file is intended for EPC’s that use a different piping design system. The EPC will provide the empty DDP
file (Excel file), along with drawings of various 3D shapes that visually define each dimension variable, such as the
face−to−face. Fisher will manually populate the valve envelope dimensions into this Special DDP Excel file.
Non−Standard Price (standard base discount or market factor applies) with 10% commission.

Web access is available for instruction manuals, bulletins, serial cards, RSPPLs and BOMs. Select the appropriate PSID codes
as identified in the chart below for consolidated instruction manuals. Select the appropriate PSID code to view RSPPLs and BOMs.
PSID−084 (no charge) will also generate these documents on the web for an order and should be used if so desired and neither
drawings nor instruction manuals are required on the order.
Use the instruction below for single and multiple order consolidations. See
http://mtndocs.mt.na.emersonprocess.com/Sales__Development___Support/eBusinessSDS/sds_wy_projectdocumentation
for more details and access to this “Project Documentation” website.
As a standard, one copy of FCS instruction manuals is packed with each product shipped. If the customer requires additional copies
to be mailed, use the consolidated instruction manual special service code PSID-565 or PSID−566 in N. America or PSID−065 or
PSID−465 in other world areas to request additional manuals. PSID-065, PSID-465, PSID−565, or PSID−566 consolidates all the
items on an order, a series of orders, or a project. For example, if the customer wants 5 additional manuals, he or she will receive
5 for the entire order, order series, or project rather than 5 for each item as was sometimes the case with PSID-008 and PSID-034
(which are now inactive).
A transmittal letter will be furnished with PSID−565 and 566 listing all tag numbers (if used), serial numbers, and instruction manual
titles required for each tag or serial number. The letter is sorted by customer PO number, tag number, and serial number. The letter
is sent to the customer with the instruction manuals and it can be used to determine which manuals are required for each tag.
Instructions for use of PSID-065, PSID−465, PSID−565, and PSID−566.
From the customer’s requirements, determine if manuals are required. Also determine the ship-to address(es) for the manuals (the
address must include a street address—manuals cannot be sent to a P.O. Box).

APPROVAL OF LD CLAUSES
The appropriate Industry Manager in Marshalltown MUST approve ALL Liquidated Damage clauses. Any questions
regarding this policy should be directed to the appropriate Industry Manager.
Note: Since retention is not included in our Standard Terms & Conditions, the appropriate Fishert Industry Manager
must review the customer’s Term & Conditions as part of the quote submittal process. If the appropriate Fisher Industry
Manager does not review and negotiate Terms & Conditions, the Local Business Partner will be responsible for the
retention payment as well as other non−negotiated clauses in the customer’s terms.
Emerson will typically require a standby Letter of Credit or a Surety Bond in lieu of retenton.
Letter of Credit and Bond requests MUST allow for a lead time of four weeks minimum. Because of this, it is important that
the Local Business Partner recognize the requirements in the contract or request for quotation and follow this procedure
promptly to ensure due dates are met.
Note: If either Special Service code PSSC−008 or PSSC−009 is not included in the order, any retention claims will
be the responsibility of the sales office entering the order, even if the Bond or Letter of Credit were approved by
Emerson Automation Solutions.
Once this code is entered on your order, either Project Management or Global Inside Sales will request from the Local
Business Partner contact additional information regarding these requirements. Please have readily available:
D Copy of the Purchase Order
D PO Terms & Conditions

Cover Sheet
The cover sheet will be the first page of the document transmitted to the customer. It will define to both parties what the
document contained includes as well as provides a status of the document. The Emerson or Local Business Partner (LBP)
assigned document controller will be required to add a cover sheet to each contractual documentation deliverable in line
with the project requirements. The Emerson preferred approach is to quote no cover sheet as standard.
The Emerson Standard Document cover sheet is automatically generated out of the DocPro documentation management
tool. The template can also be found in edocs by searching for the Emerson Standard “DocPro Cover Sheet” or by visiting
the Project Strategies Website at the following url:
http://mtndocs.mt.na.emersonprocess.com/ProjectStrategyWebsite/index.htm
Examples of the cover sheet should be provided to the customer in the final project bid as a best practice, and as part of
the Gate II meeting discussion.

Customer Inspection
Order Entry Document Volume II
CUSTOMER INSPECTIONS
Projects that require Inspections or Witness testing should quote one of the following options below. The Standard Emerson
approach should be to offer Inspection options to the customer that minimize delays to the manufacturing process. When
the customer insists on having the option to inspect, notification points can be used to provide the customer the opportunity
to witness key milestone tests of the valve assembly.
Notification Only definition: Emerson will notify the customer then wait for the specified duration to allow the customer to
inspect. Manufacture of the valves will continue regardless of whether the customer turns up for the inspection. If the test
is completed successfully to Fisher quality standards, Emerson will proceed with the work.
Selecting Notification Only inspection options help to minimize the impact on the order schedule impact.
Representative’s Responsibilities:
- Clearly understand the inspection requirements of the customer.
- Clearly communicate the customer’s requirements to the factory per the inspection levels shown during the order entry
process.
- Contact Global Industry Inside Sales or Project Management for any non-standard customer inspection requirements.
- Advise the factory the date the equipment must be ready for inspection in order to meet the customer requested
delivery date. To accomplish this, you must determine when the delivery to the customer’s job site is required, and
subtract the shipping time, 2 days for boxing, the time required for the customer to travel to the factory to complete
the inspection, and the required notification time prior to inspection and enter that date in the Requested Delivery Date
area of the order.
- Ensure that there is a name and phone number of the customer’s inspector clearly shown on the face of the order at
the time of order entry.
- If the name and phone number of the customer inspector is not known at the time of the order entry, a change order
needs to be entered with this information at least 2 weeks prior to the inspection date.
- If the customer inspection requirement is added after order entry, advise the new date the equipment is required to
be ready for inspection to support the customer delivery requirement.
Customer Responsibilities:
- Bring a copy of the certified and approved (if required) drawings for the equipment.
- Complete the inspection process within a reasonable period of time.
Factory Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge the delivery date for customer inspection orders as the ready for inspection date at the Emerson Process
Management factory.
- Complete the manufacture of the equipment on or before the acknowledged ready for inspection date.
- Notify the customer that the equipment is ready for inspection on or before the acknowledged ready for inspection
date. Please note that the customer inspector will only be contacted for inspection when the equipment is completed.
- Meet all of the inspection requirements of the representative order.
- If Notification Only inspection points are quoted the factory will notify either the Project Manager or LBP/Sales Office
to contact the customer to notify that the valves are ready for inspection and will be placed on hold for a set time to
allow the option for the customer inspect.
- It is the responsibility of the Project Manager or LBP/Sales Office to notify the factory to release the hold in line with
the quoted 2 or 10 notification working days period.
Photograph Inspection
Order Entry Document Volume II
Customer Inspection via Photographs must be specified at the time of order entry using the published PSCD codes
listed below and are valid for assemblies only. These are two photograph packages available. Only the photographs
listed below will be taken and sent to the Sales Office contact e−mail specified in the ACK notes on the order.
All orders for Photograph Inspections must include an ACK note with a Emerson Sales office, LBP, or Representative
e−mail address to send the pictures. Emerson manufacturing WILL NOT send photographs directly to
customers.
Emerson will allow for seven (7) days after the photographs are sent for the customer to either release the product
for shipment or communicate discrepancies. After seven days, Storage Charges will apply per the existing Storage
Charge Policy in OED II.
Once the order is entered, photographs may not be substituted for other forms of inspection such as in−person visual
inspection or witness points. If in−person inspection is waived in lieu of photographs, in−person inspection charges
still apply as well as photograph inspection and change order charges.
*The video link sent to the inspector/customer via the Emerson large file exchange is only active for 10 days. If the
inspector/customer doesn’t download the video within the allotted 10 days and link expires a $150 fee will be incurred for the link
to be resent.
(1)
Notification Only definition: Fisher will notify the customer then wait for the specified duration to allow the customer to inspect.
Manufacture of the valves will continue regardless of whether the customer turns up the inspection. If the test is completed
successfully to Fisher quality standards, Fisher will proceed with the work. Selecting Notification Only Inspection options help to
minimize the impact on the order schedule impact.
Inspector Responsibility
The valve will progress in manufacturing or be released to ship only after the inspector has reviewed and approved the

Emerson, standard policy is to ship product when ready, unless shipping restrictions have been agreed to and are noted
on the order such as, “Do Not Split Ship”, or a “Do Not Sip Before” date is provided at time of order entry. Orders are placed
with a requested ship date, which we make every attempt to meet, yet authorization to ship when ready is not always granted.
Not accepting the shipment, as agreed upon, adds significant costs to Emerson.
Emerson policy provides for storage charges to be applied to any order held at the factory due to customer imposed delays
for items that are built and in shipping or not providing inspector contact details for items in production. These customers
imposed delays include, but are not limited to, withholding shipping instructions or approvals, delaying customer
inspections, and not providing authorization to ship product as agreed upon.
Furthermore, change order charges may be applied to orders when “Do No Split Ship” or “Do Not Ship Before” date is added
after items are released to the factory.
These charges apply to customer delays of more than 10 working days. For customer inspection situations, storage charges
will be added if customer inspection and full shipping release has not been accomplished within 10 working days (or per
the contractual agreement) after the inspector has been notified. Delays caused by the customer will result in adjusting facto-
ry promise dates once item(s) have been ordered.
Notification will be provided to the customer when the delay starts. The cumulative total delay duration will be accumulated
per tag. Upon successful completion of the shipment, the final billing, including storage charges will be processed. Storage
charges for partial month will be assessed at their full month rate.
Note: A sample of the letter that can be sent to the customers explaining our Storage Charge Policy is available on FishWeb.
Please visit the Sales Administrative Manual located on the Global Industry Sales Home Page on FishWeb. Copy the letter
and use it during project negotiations.

lab responsible for the test.
Marshalltown − Andrew Kinser
Wuqing − Eric Yu
Cernay − Benoit Wagner
D The validation assures that a signed customer order test plan is in place, that the quoted lead time is achievable
based on the current lab schedule, and identifies any additional requirements for the valve assembly before and
after the test (for example: bare stem valve only, send parts before assembly, valve should be cleaned and
reassembled after testing, etc.).

“Cleaning and Handling for Oxygen and Other Special Services”
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this procedure is to establish Emerson Automation Solutions guidelines for cleaning industrial−
process measurement and control equipment to be used by customers for oxygen and non-oxygen fluid services,
verifying this cleanliness, and ensuring that cleanliness of product will be maintained during transportation.
DEGREASING CLASSES:
THREE COMPANY IDENTIFICATION CLASSES are used to define the most commonly used grades of degreasing
for oxygen and non-oxygen services:
CLASS A NON-OXYGEN CLEANING: applies to product components which have surfaces that will contact fluid
other than pure oxygen. “Non-oxygen” fluids could include argon, liquid air, nitrogen, chlorine, etc.
CLASS AA CLEANING FOR OXYGEN SENSORING: applies to component parts used for sensoring and having
contact with pure liquid gaseous oxygen, or an oxygen-enriched fluid service. Specifically, this class addresses
degreasing and related factors that affect the system’s avoidance of ignition and fire. “Oxygen-Enriched Service”
applies to a fluid (gas or liquid) that contains more than 25 mol % oxygen.
CLASS AAA CLEANING FOR OXYGEN OPERATING MEDIUM: applies to components which control the flow
stream and have contact with pure liquid or gaseous oxygen, or an oxygen-enriched fluid service. Specifically, this
class addresses degreasing and related factors that affect the system’s avoidance of ignition and fire.

ARAMCO Processing
Order process for ARAMCO orders apply to Control Valves for both General Service and Non−General Service in addition
to NACE and Non−NACE. The following instructions will guide you through the ordering process to ensure all applicable
ARAMCO requirements are fulfilled.
ARAMCO Processing is focused on direct ARAMCO orders. Adjustments may be necessary for additional requirements
added by EPC’s or OEM suppliers.
NACE
ARAMCO has specific requirements for NACE applications that will require that the Sales Office / LBP determine the correct
ARAMCO NACE PSCS option based on materials being supplied.
D You will need to review pressure boundary parts (i.e., body, bonnet, etc.) and major trim parts, plug, disk, cage, seat ring,
etc.
D Then select the correct ARAMCO NACE PSCS code based on the materials being supplied:
D Austenitic SST and Nickel based alloys (PSCS−012 or PSCS−022)
D Non−Austenitic SST & non−Nickel based alloys (PSCS−013 or PSCS−023)
D Non−Austenitic SST and non−Nickel based alloys require hardness testing and these requirements are included in
ARAMCO PSCS−013 and PSCS−023 options.
Common Austenitic Stainless Steel materials used in control valves: 300 series SST = Typical grades 316, 316L, 304, etc.
Nickel Alloy typical grades = Monel, Hastelloy C, Inconel, etc. (used for body and trims).
Common Non−Austenitic Stainless Steel materials used in control valves: 17−4 SST, 400 series SST (normally used for
trims)
Carbon Steel used for valve bodies and bonnets: WCC, LCC, etc., are non−Austenitic and require PSCS−013 or 023 options
when these materials are selected and NACE applies.
D If you have any questions if a material is or is not Austenitic or Nickel Alloy consult with a materials expert or contact your
local SD&S, SDSE or GIS contact to ensure the correct selection is made.

ARAMCO Processing
PMI Low and High Carbon Stainless Steels:
Special Positive Material Identification (PMI) is required for low and high carbon stainless steels, (e.g., 316L, 316H, 347H,
etc.). ARAMCO requires PMI testing that measures the carbon level for low and high carbon stainless steels.
Measuring the carbon content is beyond our standard PMI testing process and requires test equipment capable of
measuring carbon content. This requirement applies to both trim and pressure boundary parts. Please consult factory for
price adder extra to meet this customer requirement.
Paint:
ARAMCO Processing assumes “manufactures standard paint” based on this statement found in ARAMCO − Material
System Specification 34−SAMSS−711 − Controls valves. When an RFQ includes additional specification specific to paint,
these documents should be reviewed and the appropriate paint system selected to comply with the additional customer
requirements.
Inspections:
For project that don’t have an assigned project manager (PM) or project administrator (PA), inspection coordination should
be organized by the manufacturing site customer service contact.
For project that have an assigned PM or PA assigned, they will assist in coordination of required inspection points.
North America requires a PM or PA to be assigned for Control Valves Non−General Service, contact the North America
Project Management Organization team for resource assignment.

The European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) requires pressure equipment destined for certain countries
in Europe to be marked with a “CE Mark” and that the equipment meets all aspects of the directive. PED is one of a number
of EC Directives aimed at achieving free trade within Europe. Previously, these countries had their own standards and
requirements for products traded in their country. This Directive was written to remove technical trade barriers by
harmonizing the national laws within Europe. The PED applies to the design, manufacture, and conformity assessment of
pressure equipment and pressure assemblies. All equipment covered by this Directive must comply with essential safety
requirements, which will then meet the equivalent national laws of all member countries.
The PED categorizes equipment based upon the relative safety hazard represented by the application. These “Categories”
are dependent upon the type of fluid, valve size (or volume), and design pressure (class). The process of categorization
is somewhat complex, so the Valve Division has assumed the maximum design Category for each applicable product and
size, based upon the most hazardous fluid.
The Categories and applicable products are listed below, along with the associated PSCD code to ensure compliance with
the PED law.
Please note that SEP (Sound Engineering Practice) applies to pressure equipment that is not subject to PED compliance,
but must be designed and manufactured in accordance with existing “sound engineering practice”. Consequently, SEP
equipment cannot be CE marked based strictly upon PED requirements. Instead, these products will require a “Declaration
of SEP” to properly identify them and to minimize complications when exported to one of the applicable European countries.
(It should be noted, however, that there are other European directives which may apply to SEP equipment and these
components may exhibit the CE mark based upon compliance with these other directives. For example, DVC5010’s are
classified as SEP by the PED, but they bear a CE mark because they comply with the ATEX and Electromagnetic
Compatibility directives.)
Procedure
Order Processing Systems require an indicator for domestic or export shipment (Federal Export Regulations). If the order
is destined for one of the European Union countries which require adherence to the PED (refer to OED II, 5D.8), it must be
screened for the applicable directive(s) and process accordingly.
Please refer to OED II, 5D.8 for a listing of the countries which require adherence to the PED.
Please refer to the Product Matrix for PED compliance on FishWeb [Alphabetical/P/Pressure Equipment Directive (Fisher
Division)/Product Matrix]. Follow the steps to determine the following: PED applicability, material approval, manufacturing
site options, and the appropriate Product Service Code indicated (see next page).
Note: Some of the PSCD’s require a minimum of Processing Level 3 in addition to the applicable PED requirements(s). Also,
if the component is Category II or Category III, and involves fabrication welding (such as an extension bonnet, or reducers),
the order will require CSP Processing in addition to the PSCD’s (due to requirements related to weld procedure and
personnel approvals).
Also, see OED II, Section 6 if/when Processing Levels are required.
Procedure
Similar to the Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX only applies to certain countries. Please refer to the Sales
Administrative Manual, located on the Sales Development and Support Homepage on FishWeb for a listing of the
countries which require adherence to the ATEX Directive.
ATEX Directive compliance is slightly different from the Pressure Equipment Directive. Whereas PED is mandatory,
depending upon the service conditions (pressure, size/volume, fluid), ATEX compliance is dependent upon the
customer’s application (see above “zone” classifications). Thus, we must rely upon the customer’s order to invoke
ATEX compliance in some manner (such as: ATEX; Zone 0, 1, or 2; 2014/34/EU). In some cases, the customer may
order one of the aforementioned instrument with special ATEX approved FS/Option and nameplate. This indicates
that they are interested in ATEX compliance and the order should be processed accordingly.
We have developed special Product Service Codes to allow us to properly process ATEX orders to insure correct
product marking and certification. Select the appropriate PSIS code as shown in the following table whenever the
order is identified as requiring ATEX compliance.
1) If CE marked for ATEX, then must also be processed for PED. See 5D.3.
Category II, III for 785C Series:
PSCD-306 No Charge
Includes PED and ATEX certification CE marking, Safe Use Guide.
Fishert Instruments:
See OED I for special Construction which will include CE ATEX Marking, and Safety Instructions (which includes EU
Declaration of Conformity).
In some cases, customers may order a Fisher instrument (or buyout accessory) with ATEX construction strictly because it
provides another type of safety protection unrelated to possible use in an explosive atmosphere. An example of this is
“Intrinsically Safe” wiring requirement and approvals. In these cases, the Representatives must confirm that the requirement
for ATEX (”explosive atmosphere”) is not applicable and the above PSIS codes should not be applied to the order. To clarify
this situation in a consistent and systematic way, the following code must be applied instead to document non−applicability:
PSIS−031 (no charge will apply).
Buyout Accessories:
Buyout accessories may be subject to ATEX and various other European Directives (Low Voltage, Electromagnetic
Compatibility, etc.). It is important that these components comply with, and are CE marked in accordance with, the applicable
directive(s). See OED II, Section 4 for applicability and instructions.
Final responsibility for selecting a European Directive compliant (CE marked) buyout component is incumbent upon the
Customer.

To permit shipment into the CU, it was necessary to obtain the necessary approvals for our product types. Design files were
coordinated via a third party agency, manufacturing/inspection assessments were completed, and approval was granted
by the appropriate Russian authority. These approvals (certifications) permit us to process orders in accordance with the
applicable regulation(s), issue our certification to CU TR, and apply a special mark to signify compliance: “EAC.” Additional
marking will be applied as defined by each regulation.
Procedure
Ordering processing systems require an indicator for domestic or export shipment (US Federal Export Regulations). If the
order is destined to one of the Customs Union countries, it must be screened for the applicable regulation and processed
accordingly.
Proper order processing is important to insure compliance with Customs Union requirements. If order is destined for Russia,
Kazakhstan, Belarus, or Armenia refer to CU TR Product Matrix on FishWeb (Alphabetical/C/CU TR Customs Union
Technical Regulations/Product Matrix) and apply the appropriate Product Service Code(s) to insure order processing,
certification, and marking.

In some cases, customers may order a Fisher instrument (or buyout accessory) with CU TR
Expl. Safety strictly because it provides another type of safety protection unrelated to possible
use in an explosive atmosphere. An example of this is “Intrinsically Safe” wiring requirement PSIS-113 N/C
and approvals. In these cases, the LBP must confirm that the requirement for ”explosive
atmosphere” is not applicable and PSIS−111 should not be applied to the order. To clarify
this situation in a consistent and systematic way, the following code must be applied instead
to document non−applicability. This code can ONLY be used if the valve assembly is not
going into a hazardous area (explosive atmosphere).
Buyout Accessories:
See OED II, Section 4 for applicable Product Service Codes.

This process is only valid for Fisher/Emerson Automation Solutions Equipment. We will not bill for Non−Emerson
Equipment.
As a service to our Emerson Automation Solutions Sales Offices, Emerson will invoice customers for shipments from Sales
Office stock when required by the customer. When this third party invoicing is required, the Emerson Automation Solutions
Sales Office will send a hard copy order to the Marshalltown Billing Department. The order should detail all possible
information that is to be shown on the invoice to the customer. The standard Emerson terms apply to the customer invoice
with the Emerson Automation Solutions Sales Office assuming the credit risk.
The amount of the customer invoice will be credited to the Emerson Automation Solutions Sales Office through its accounts
receivable less an administrative charge. The credit will be issued to the Emerson Automation Solutions Sales Office when
Emerson is paid by the customer. The administrative charge covers invoicing in four copies on standard Emerson invoice
forms. Additional attachments, documentation and/or certification will be priced on application and added to the
administrative invoice charge.
Invoice Charge: Fisher will impose an invoicing charge for any invoices which need to be re−issued for any non−factory
initiated change to the invoice details (e.g., Customer Number, Customer Purchase Order Number, “Invoice To” address,
“Ship To” address, pricing, or commission adjustments.) This charge may be added to the invoice or deducted from the
payable commission amount.
