NAME OF PROJECT IMPROVEMENT OF PAVEMENT AND DRAINAGE CANAL

BACKGROUND AND The proposed project of the improvement of pavement and drainage
RATIONALE canal reflects the identified need of Sto. Nino Elementary Schoo, based from its
recent situation most especially during rainy seasons. The General Parents
Teachers Association Officers spearheaded by the President, Edgar T. Palting,
evaluated the area and has been observed the following scenario:
a. Overflowing of rainwater coming from the New DPWH Bldg. down
to the Old DPWH Bldg. which affect the Kindergarten. Grade 1,
Grade 2 and clinic rooms including the school quadrangle most
especially when there is heavy rain which will caused flooding at
the area.
b. Rainwater are stocked infront of wash area and infont of clinic room
which may led the place as mosquito breeding place which is
dangerous to learner’s health.

With the improvement of the pavement through cement topping on the

affected areas and improvement of the drainage canal, the problem on stocked
rainwater will be addressed and this will result on the provision of favorable and
healthy environment for the school learners.
OBJECTIVE The PTA project through the cooperation of all members shall:
 Improve the pavement and drainage canal infront of wash area
and clinic room of Sto. Nino Elementary School

PROJECT PLANNING A. Planning
1. Preparing the Project Proposal and the Program of Works
2. Submission of the Project Proposal and Program of Works to SDO Laoag
City for approval.

B. Implementation
1. SNES-PTA with the help of 54 members will generate a fund through
raffle ticket amounting to .99 centavos. The parent/member will be given
50 pcs ticket amounting to 49.50 pesos.

 2. SNES-PTA will generate a total fund amounting to 2,673.00.
3. Raffle draw of the tickets will be on July 12, 2023 at 03:00 PM
4. Fund generated will be under the care of the SNES-PTA Treasurer,
Alanie A. Taliente.
5. Construction/improvement of the drainage canal will be August 2023
with the supervision of the PTA Officers SY 2022-2023.

1. Accomplishment of the project will be evaluated by Arch. Jomar Agoy
