Hello guys, good evening.

Well, In this presentation, we are going to discuss about astronomy

1. Astronomy is the scientific discipline that focuses on observing, understanding, and

interpreting celestial phenomena. It encompasses the study of stars, planets, moons,
galaxies, nebulae, and other cosmic entities. Astronomers use various tools and instruments,
such as telescopes, spectrographs, and space probes, to gather data and explore the
mysteries of the universe.
2. The roots of astronomy trace back to ancient civilizations, with records of astronomical
observations dating back thousands of years. The ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Greeks,
and Mayans were among the early cultures that studied celestial events. Astronomy evolved
across different cultures and eras, leading to significant contributions from astronomers such
as Claudius Ptolemy, Nicolaus Copernicus, Johannes Kepler, Galileo Galilei, and Sir Isaac
Newton.
3. The name of the first planet is Mercury. This planet is the closest to the Sun. Its distance
from the Sun is about 57,9 million km.
- Venus is the next planet after Mercury. Venus is not as close to the Sun as Mercury. The
distance of this planet is about 108.9 million km with a revolution time of 225 days and a
rotation of 243 days.
- The names of the next planets are Earth. The planet we live on is in third position in the
solar system. The composition of the air in the atmosphere best suits the needs of living
things. So that all living things can live on this planet.
- Planet Mars or also known as the red planet is in fourth position in the solar system. The
mention of the red planet because the surface of Mars is red. Mars has an average
distance of 228 million km and a diameter of 6,794 km. Its revolution time is about 1.9
years with a rotation period of 24.6 hours.

4. The distance between the Sun and Neptune also varies due to Neptune's elliptical orbit.
The average distance between the Sun and Neptune is about 4.5 billion kilometers or about
2.8 billion miles. and there are differences of opinion that pluto is no longer included in the
planets. So the final planet is not Pluto but Neptune. Due to Pluto's elongated and
imperfectly circular orbit, its distance from the Sun fluctuates during each revolution,
affecting temperature and surface conditions dramatically.

So, That’s all for our presentation today and thank you so much for your attention.
