ORAL PRESENTATION

Deadline: August 14th

Material: Student’s book page 29

1. Choose a topic from exercise 5A

2. Have a look at exercise 5B and follow the steps to prepare a presentation of the
chosen topic (it should be 7-10 minutes long)

3. Make a PowerPoint, Prezi, or whatever platform you like to present the topic. Use your
imagination!

4. Beforehand, send me the written presentation so that I can have a look at it while you
speak (it’s better if it is a word file)

Bear in mind:

o Grammar

o Vocabulary

o Connectors

o Useful expressions (student’s book page 29 ex. 4 C)

o Do not study the topic by heart, but try to rehearse it beforehand

Remember that you will be evaluated on:

o Fluency

o Accuracy

• Grammar

• Vocabulary

• Register

o Organisation

o Authenticity

o Research skills

o Written presentation
