lying to yourself about the bad moments makes you a hopeless optimistic. Things in life happen
even you want or not, thinking bad about certain things doesn’t make you a pessimist only a
realistic person. Having optimistic thoughts only can be dangerous cause when something really
bad happens you don’t now how to respond to this situations and this could lead you to a
pessimistic vision.
Suppressing thoughts is very common in these days, social media sends a very dangerous
message about negative thinking telling its bad when it’s completely natural. Trying to hide this
feelings to fit in can be bad for your physical and mental health. According to Florida State
University studies showed that those who suppress emotions experience greater stress during
conflict cause they manage a “super positive” environment and they don’t want to accept a
negative thing. Suppressing emotions is found to be a key contributor to mental disorders such as

Negative things aren’t that same as pessimism, forcing yourself to always look on the bright side
of things can become draining, and optimism can lead people to ignore the feelings that are
occurring at a deeper level. Unrelenting positive attitude can turn not only toxic, hiding your
emotions can cause a permanent damage to you. “Being positive all the time means that there is
no critical analysis taking lace or tacking stock of one’s current situation” Dillon says.
It’s un humans nature to expect the worst, in nature it’s a default position to survive. Negativity
is a self defense mechanism your mind has, trying to hide it can be dangerous and also you can
loss al sense of reality and start misperception of the possible things that can occur. Negativity is
realism, life isn’t a fairytale and people need to be realistic about that. Hiding emotions it’s
dangerous and would mark you for the rest of your life. “ Life is never straight forward, it often
throws curveballs, positivity is a good thing to have, but embracing the negative moments in life
