1.0. INTRODUCTION
The greatness of a nation hinges on the ability of its
government to provide basic needs and conducive
environment for the people to thrive and respond positively
to global challenges. The Federal Government’s goal of
making Nigeria an industrialized nation by the year 2030
cannot be actualized without all sectors of the society
working together to achieve the set objectives.
1.1. In this regards, the Government of ……… State under the
leadership of ……………………..has come out boldly to
align itself with Federal Government set of goals by creating
conducive environment for private and public partnership for

Agricultural sector by making maximum use and control of

1.3. There is no doubt that Agricultural Sector in Nigeria has been
the main source of external income before the discoveries of
Oil Sector in Nigeria. Nigeria used to be the world’s largest
producer of oil palm before the oil boom era. Oil palm serve
as by products to numerous industries such as the food and
beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry to mention
a few. Palm oil is an extremely versatile product that has
many different properties and functions. The palm can also
be used in various ways; the leaves are used in making
brooms and as roofing materials; the bark of the fond can be
peeled and woven into baskets. The trunk can be used as part
of building materials when spitted like timbers. We can also
get palm wine from oil palm tree.
1.4. Therefore our humble contribution towards fulfillment of the
economic development of …… State, Youth Empowerment
and Industrialization of our great state is to engage
agricultural development in oil palm sector as contained in

Due to the alarming rate of unemployment and idleness of

embark on Palm Plantation so as to direct the energy of the
youths towards acquiring entrepreneurial mentality channeled

4.0. COMPANY OBJECTIVES
The primary objectives of the company is to not only
maximize profit while sustaining the needs of consumers
through its services; but also
a. To reduce the unemployment rate of the community, the
Local Government and the state at large;

c. To provide training platform for youths who may not be
able to afford higher education;
d. To create opportunity for basic skill acquisition in line
with especially on Rural and Agricultural Development.

5.0. SCOPE OF OUR SERVICES


5.1. The company’s plan is to largely concentrate on Palm Oil
Production and strengthen its financial viability by
embarking on extension programme, that will also
incorporate in-grower scheme. The company intends to
purchase and install additional 2 tonne FFB per hour mill
with an expanded Palm Kernel Cracking Unit.
5.2. It is expected that the cost of installing viable milling capacity
as well as infrastructure will be in the region of Eight
Million naira only(₦8,500.000:00).

7.0. FUTURE DEVELOPMENT AND FINANCIAL


PROJECTION
7.1. The company is aware of the importance of Palm Oil as an
essential part of the average diet in many African homes
and also a major requirement for the food industries. This
has put a substantial pressure on the producers, who have
been unable to satisfy the growing domestic and industries
demand for Palm Oil.
7.2. Our Company, through the proposed development of 200
hectares of Oil Plantation is of the view that a matured
plantation will give an investor 5 tonnes per hectare of red
palm oil from the fourth year and 1000 tonnes for the entire
200 Hectares. A tone of red palm oil is a minimum of
N400,000. With this projection, 1000 tonnes derivable from
200 Hectares will give a gross revenue of
N400,000,000,00k from red palm oil, an investment value
of this range is being added to the State economy on red
palm oil only. 3 metric tonnes of palm kernel can also be
obtained from one hectare. This gives us 600 tonnes from
200 hectares at the sale of N300, 000,00k per hectare. This
translate to annual income of 180,000,000.00k.
