Abstract
The COVID-19 does not only impact human health but also affects events and
businesses at both national and global levels. After a year of the Covid-19 Pandemic,
people have been suddenly forced to adapt to the ‘New Normal’, wherein work from
home, a new blended learning setting, lockdown, quarantine, and the mandatory
wearing of face masks and practice of social distancing in public places. This study
aimed to investigate the social impacts of the New Normal on the events industry from
the perspective of selected eventologists in Tacloban City. This study used a descriptive
correlational method of research. The researchers utilized survey questionnaires to
gather the data. This study aimed to provide valuable information on the social impacts
of the New Normal in the Events industry from the perspective of selected eventologists.
