Dear Prof. Robert Kennedy,

We are very interested in your article, entitled “Reducing Time and Increasing
Sensitivity in Sample Preparation for Adherent Mammalian Cell Metabolomics.”
Since we would like to use the proposed protocol with fast quenching for adherent
cells, here are two questions we would like to ask regarding this protocol.
For the first question, the conventional dish, which made of polystyrene plastics,
is unsuitable for directly adding liquid nitrogen. We would like to ask which culture
dish is suggestible for this method.
Second, which device is suggested for 15 mL liquid nitrogen collection? For
example, a 15 mL centrifuge tube or others.

It is highly appreciated if these questions will be answered at your convenience.
