Prayer Vigil and

candlelight
Procession to Our
Lady of Fatima
When the Entrance Chant is concluded, the Bishop and the faithful,
standing,sign themselves with the Sign of the Cross, while the Bishop,
facing the people,says:

In the name of the Father,


and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

The people reply:

Amen.

Then the Bishop, extending his hands, greets the people, saying:

Peace be with you.

Venite Aoremus is sung by the choir,when the chant is concluded the


bishop says:

Brethren we are gathered here to commemorate of the apparition of the Lady dress
in white and brighter than the sun to seek her intercession for peace and to ask her
to show us the light of the world

Then the Bishop,proceeds to the Paschal candle and lits his candle then he
pass the fire to the priest,then the priest distributed to the faithful,then
Lumen Christe is chanted,if the chant concluded the bishop blesses the
candle saying:

O Lord creator of Light we pray, into the hearts of the faithful


the brilliance of perpetual light,
so that all who are brightened in your love by the splendor of these candles
may happily reach the light of your glory.
Through Christ our Lord.

Tto start the rosary the priest will say:

Brethren will pray the rosary as the Blessed Mother recommend on her apparition
at this very place for peace on earth and to make reperation for the sin of human
kind
The priest will start the rosary and the Hail Mary will be said in different
language,but the reply of the faihtful is said in Filipino (the our father is
said also in Filipino

1st Mystery- Filipino- Aba Ginoong Maria napupuno ka ng grasya ang


Panginoong Diyos ay sumasa iyo bukod kang pinagpala sa babaeng lahat at
pinagpala naman ang iyong anak na si Hesus

Santa Maria Ina ng Diyos ipanalangin mo kaming makasalanan ngayon at


kung kami mamamatay.Amen.

2nd Mystery-Spanish “Dios te salve, María, Llena eres de gracia, el Señor es


contigo. Bendita tú eres entre todas las mujeres, y bendito es el fruto de tu
vientre, Jesús. Santa María, Madre de Dios, ruega por nosotros, pecadores,
ahora y en la hora de nuestra muerte.

3rd Mystery-English Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our
death. Amen.

4th Mystery Portugese -Ave-Maria, cheia de graça, o Senhor é convosco,


bendita sois vós entre as mulheres a bendito é o fruto do vosso ventre,
Jesus. Santa Maria, Mãe de Deus, rogai por nós, pecadores, agora e na hora
da nossa morte. Amém.

5th Mystery Latin -Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in
mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater
Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen

If the rosary has concluded Salve Pastorinhos is chanted


The procession will begin accompany by the image of Our Lady .If the
procession is concluded the priest says the collect

As we venerate the glorious memory of the most holy Virgin Mary, grant,
we pray, O Lord, through her intercession, that we, too, may merit to
receive from the fullness of your grace. Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.

The readings of the day are said.Then the priest says the Gospel and
says his homily.After the homily the prayers of the faithful is now said

P—Hoping that we will get through this year by relying on your grace, dear
Father, as we face new challenges and opportunities, we pray to you,
Father, that the Prince of Peace, born of Mary, may guide us as we struggle
to incarnate the Gospel values in our lives. Full of trust, we say:God of
peace, listen to our prayer.

C—We pray for Pope Francis, all the bishops, priests and d e a c o n s : m
ay t h e y b e instruments of peace and unity in communities where hatred
and division reign. We pray

We pray for the leaders of nations: may they value dialogue more than
dissent, and promote restorative justice so that people may live in
tranquility and work for their advancement. We pray

We pray for all those persecuted because of religion, class, race, gender, or
color: may they find support and comfort from those who work for justice
and peace and in their community. We pray:

We pray for the end of the pandemic: may the Lord continue to heal those
who are infected, protect those who are in the frontlines, and grant eternal
rest to those who have died. We pray:

We pray for the end of war in Ukraine and Russia: may the Immaculate
Heart of Mary be their comfort to those are in sorrows and may the Sacred
Heart of Jesus may reign upon their Hearts.We Pray:

P — Heavenly Father, hear our humble supplications. Help us spend our


whole life in your service and bring peace to our brothers and sisters.

Then the priest proceeds

Let us pray: Taught by Thy saving precepts, and following Thy divine
institution, we are bold to say:

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name; Thy Kingdom
come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass
against us. And lead us not into temptation.But deliver us from evil.Amen

O God, who through the fruitful virginity of Blessed Mary bestowed on the
human race the grace of eternal salvation, grant, we pray, that we may
experience the intercession of her, through whom we were found worthy to
receive the author of life, our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son. Who lives and
reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

Then the Bishop or Cardinal gives his final blessing
