MAGNUM BrutaliTune Tunable Motorcycle Performance Exhaust Muffler
This tunable performance muffler is not Bolt-on to your Motorcycle. It installs with Weld-on
universal installation that might require exhaust modification. Prior to the purchase please
collate the dimensions of your factory exhaust muffler with the BrutaliTune specifications or feel
free to contact our Product Specialists 7 days a week.
Place BrutaliTune Exhaust up beside the factory muffler. Allocate the welding line to a feasible position and
mark at which diameter you will need to cut the cone inlet.
Cut the cone inlet where marked.
Remove the factory pipe and cut the piping where necessary. Use a handsaw, power saw, reciprocating saw
or angle grinder. Do not create any stricture towards the exhaust tail. The BrutaliTune's inlet has to be a
bit larger or equivalent to the factory pipe's diameter.
Spot-weld on the exhaust and recheck its position. Use a MIG, TIG or Flux welder.
Weld around the connection.
Crank the engine and check for leaks.
Find one or two fixtures for the exhaust clamps.
Bend the straight sheets around the exhaust body creating a clamp.
Use bolts and nuts for fixing.
In theory, the larger the exhaust cross section is opened, the less restriction is implied, which evokes a
higher din. However the optimum gas restriction cannot be determined in principle.
There is no recipe or formula which could precisely guide you through how to adjust the discs.
We recommend that you to start with an intermediate masking of cross flow area, say half covered, half
open.
Never close the cross flow area completely!
