HOW I SCORED
8.5 ON IELTS
With One Month of
Preparation
delsia-apriliasari

The most important advice I can

give you is DO NOT PREPARE IN
ONE MONTH as I did 😂

Trust me, it's not worth the

stress.

But, if you're in a rush and have

no other options then here we
go...

1.
Want to ace the test? Take a
good look at it first!

Study each section carefully to

figure out which one will be the
real challenge and which one
will be a breeze.

Use this information to craft your

perfect study strategy.

2.
Don't be buried in IELTS
resources! Choose only what
works for you (5 to 6 max!)

I ditched the physical book and

relied on a few select online
materials and YouTube channels
to help me.

P.S. I found that I learn the most

from video tutorials!

3.
Understanding the scoring
system is crucial.

This is not magic! those numbers

are not coming out of thin air 😂

Know exactly the error margin

and what the examiners are
looking for to get your target
score.

4.
Set your test schedule NOW!
Whether it's a month or a year
from now.

Better yet, BOOK that test

today!

I secured my test spot before

studying to avoid procrastinating.

The power of kepepet does work

wonders for me! Haha 🤭

5.
Find a friend (or a tool) to help
you.

Especially for speaking & writing

practice, outside input is crucial.

Do you speak too fast? Do you

repeat words too much?

Feedback will help with your

performance and confidence in
taking the test.

6.
Take care of yourself.
Obviously.

Eat well and get enough sleep to

perform your best on test day.
I made the mistake of neglecting
my health and got sick ONE WEEK
before my test.

Taking care of your well-being

should be the number one
priority.

Remember that one month is
not a lot of time to prepare for
the IELTS, so it's important to be
focused and disciplined in your
study habits.

But...
Don't be too hard on yourself!

Stay motivated and stay on

track, and you'll be able to
achieve your goals. Good luck!
