1) Explain software license manager script?

A software license manager script is a program that helps organizations manage and
control software licenses. It handles tasks like license activation, validation, tracking,
enforcement, reporting, and renewal/upgrades. It ensures compliance with license
terms, prevents unauthorized use, and optimizes license utilization.

2) Write advantage and disadvantage of core and desktop experience?

3) Explain server core installation process?

Server Core installation is a streamlined version of Windows Server that lacks a graphical
user interface (GUI). It is lighter, more secure, and managed primarily through command-line
tools or remote management. The installation involves booting from installation media,
selecting Server Core as the installation type, partitioning and formatting disks, installing
Windows Server, performing initial configuration, and managing the server using command-
line or remote tools.

4) Explain work group and domain controller network?

A workgroup network is a decentralized network configuration where each computer

operates independently and manages its own user accounts and resources. User
authentication is performed locally on each computer, and there is no centralized control or
authority.

A domain controller network, on the other hand, is a centralized network configuration

where a server called a domain controller manages user authentication, security policies,
and network resources. User accounts and security policies are managed centrally, and the
domain controller controls access to shared resources.

In summary, workgroup networks are decentralized with local user authentication, while
domain controller networks are centralized with a server managing user authentication and
resource access.
5) Explain jumpers with block diagram?

Jumpers are physical connectors on computer hardware used to configure settings or

enable/disable features. They consist of small metal pins or switches that can be manually
adjusted using a jumper cap. By placing the jumper cap on specific pins or adjusting
switches, you can change the behavior of the device. Jumpers were commonly used in the
past to configure settings like CPU clock speed, bus speed, voltage levels, or enable/disable
features. However, modern computer hardware now uses software interfaces for
configuration, making jumpers less common.
