In this assignment, you will create a post-draft outline of your research paper

assignment. Be sure to review the presentation on post-draft outlines located in the

module notes.  

Offer Your Initial Thoughts

In your initial post, share your post-draft outline of your essay. Be sure to post your
outline in the discussion window. It’s okay if your formatting is a bit off. You want to
make sure it is easy for your classmates to get a quick overview of your essay from
your outline.
After you share your outline, write a short paragraph reflecting on what you learned
from this process. How did you struggle? How did you figure out the outline? What
did your post-draft outline reveal about your thesis and how you support it?  
Your initial post is due by Thursday at 11:59 p.m. ET. 

Connect with Classmates

In your response posts, help your classmates by providing feedback on their post-
draft outline. Read their reflection. What can you add to help your classmates
engage in a strong revising process? Respond to the following questions: 

1. What is the thesis statement shared in the outline? Please share it here.  
2. Do all of the paragraph topics clearly connect to this thesis? If so, how? If not, what
suggestions do you have for revision? 
3. Does the order and flow of ideas make sense to you as a reader? If so, how? If
not, what seems out of order to you?
