Today I would like to tell you a story from java banjarnegara an titled LANDSLIDE DISASTER IN
JEMBLUNG

Have you heard the story before

Let me tell you and please listen to me carefully

There was a landslide disaster in jemblung banjarnegara already 9 years passed but that event was
still recorded clearly in Dani’s memory. He is 50 years old .one of the victims who escaped death at
that time.

The landslide that occurred on December 12 2004 cannot be forgotten by deni. Naturally ,of the 125
victims,two of them were his wife and child.not only that,but also lost two of his legs after being
buried in landslide material.

Ladies and gentlemen

At that time,around 5 pm dani with his wife and children went to his brother’s house in jemblung
village.

My wife,this sunny afternoon we will visit my brother,said dani

Ok my husband, I will prepare and I will call our son .said dani’s wife

Upon arrival at his brother’s house.his son 12 years old request fo guava fruit in front of his house.

Dad dad I want those guava fruit cry cry ……quickly I want those.said his son while crying.

After that his brother climbed the guava tree and I waited under the tree.

Ladies and gentlemen

While waiting under the guava tree,suddenly there was a roar

His brother who was climbing a guava tree shouted a signal for dani and her child to run because
there was a landslide.
Run run run run landslide. Run run landslide said his brother.

Dani immediately ran holding his wife and children to find a higher place.

Quickly my wife and my child, ran ran ran said dani

Do you know what happened with dany?

While running and holding his wife and child,only about five meters he was hit by landslide material.

His wife and child slipped from his grasp

Dani was buried from the neck down leaving only a battered head hit by landslide material.

He passed out and only realized around 7 pm because it was raining so his head was bit by rain .then
ealized

Oh my god .where my wife and my child .

Help help . oh no both my legs are broken.
