Subject: Study visit by the Committee on Papers Laid on the Table

of Rajya Sabha to Goa and Mumbai from 14 th to 18th
October, 2013.

The Rajya Sabha Secretariat vide its Office Memorandum No. 45(5)
(iii)/2013-COPLOT dated 4th October, 2013 has informed that the
Parliamentary Committee on Papers Laid on the Table of Rajya Sabha
consisting of Members of Parliament and Officers (the exact number of
members will be intimated later) of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat will be
undertaking on-the-spot study visit to Goa and Mumbai from 14 th to 18th
October, 2013 in connection with examination of the reasons for delay in
laying the Annual Reports and Audited Accounts of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan,
Goa and Mumbai on the Table of the House. The Ministry of Shipping has
been made nodal agency to make necessary arrangements in connection
with the Committee’s visit at Goa and Mumbai.

The undersigned will attend the oral evidence in respect of subject

cited above, in the capacity of Liaison Officer on behalf of Ministry of HRD,
Department of School Education and Literacy, therefore in order to
perform discussions/briefing with State Government and Rajya Sabha
Secretariat officers, the Departure to Goa with the suitable flight on
14.10.2013 by Spicejet (SG-253) as there is no seat available in Air
India Flight on 14.10.2013 in the morning. The remaining journey will
be performed by Air India only.
