Enactus Warwick Executive Committee Positions
President
Serves as the head of the Executive Committee and will preside over Executive Committee
meetings, and represent the society in all other duly constituted university forums and
meetings;
Is responsible for setting and implementing the society’s vision, mission statement and
sustainability plan for the year in office;
Will support network building within the university and communities;
Will oversee the appointment and development of the Competition Team;
Liaise with Enactus UK, University Advisors and Alumni Advisors as required.
Vice President
The Vice President shall play a supporting role to the President and assist in all matters under
the instruction of the President;
Will act in the absence of the President;
Conduct all internal executive correspondence, minutes and other clerical requirements of the
Executive Committee;
Send out weekly newsletters to members, including relaying messages from our Enactus UK
and Enactus Warwick Sponsor Companies;
Inform project leaders and members of any incoming deadlines set by Enactus UK.
Set appropriate aims and directions for commercial projects, advising throughout the year;
Recruit Project Leaders for commercial projects via interview;
Attend general exec meetings to help manage the society and come up with new commercial
project ideas to raise money in a sustainable manner;
Supervise the operation of projects, giving updates to the Executive Committee where
necessary.
Coordinate, along with the Client Portfolio Managers (“CPMs”) and other Enactus Exec, a
comprehensive PR campaign and recruitment process;
Lead the relationships with all relevant partners, including university, academic departments,
corporate partners and others;
Develop the required supportive materials (including, but not limited to, the annual resource
booklet);
Organise the CBABs (Consultancy Business Advisory Boards), the case-study competition
and the training sessions;
Support the CPMs in the coordination of the society.
Responsible for recruiting the Deputy Marketing Director and IT Media Design Officer
Coordinate recruitment efforts during Fresher’s Events (including supervising stalls, flyers,
lecture shout outs);
Facilitate merchandise orders (hoodies) and merchandise design (posters, flyers);
Increase society awareness on campus via marketing;
Organize socials for members;
Cooperate with the CRE for regarding guest talks and workshops;
Maintain and update the website;
Social Media Management (e.g. Facebook, Twitter).
Finance Director
Plan budget for the year ahead and ensure it is stuck to throughout the year;
Responsible for sourcing and overseeing applications for sponsorship;
Fill in budget form on the SU website;
Maintain and update year expenditure and income accounts;
Co-sign expense forms as required;
Oversee grant applications for projects.
Corporate Relations Executive (“CRE”) & Innovation Playground Co-Director
Responsible for working with Warwick Entrepreneurs in developing and running the
Innovation Playground Events;
Represent Enactus Warwick in the Warwick Enterprise Partnership;
Keep in contact with and maintain a healthy relationship with Business Advisors (“BAs”) and
Alumni Advisors;
Work as point of contact between BAs and project leaders, optimally assigning BAs as
mentors to individual projects;
Organise Training events for the Enactus Warwick;
Cooperate with Project Directors to organise Business Advisory Boards (“BABs”) and
maintain a strong Enactus Warwick Network.
Notes
An Executive Committee member filling one of the roles listed above will not be allowed to
take on a Project Leadership role.
