PRODUCT * The product being requested from 700Dealer interface. Only a CREDIT, OFAC, IDCHECK, REDFLAG,
single product can be requested in any transaction. OFAC and PRESCREEN, PREQUALIFY, SAVEONLY
REDFLAG can be set at the customer configuration levels to be
returned with EVERY Credit Report Requested.
BUREAU or MULTIBUR * Tells the interface which credit bureau(s) to request the file from. TU, XPN, EFX

PROGRAMMING NOTES
1. DOB is an optional parameter according to credit bureau specifications but should be included in development of interface as it
raises the hit rate for credit inquiries.
2. The format of the response is defined and maintained in 700Credit and carried forward automatically for each dealer added for
the partner interface. If you would like your response modified, data added or removed. Please email the request to our
integration support manager.
3. SPOUSE and the other SPOUSE-related name-value pairs should only be sent if a Joint Credit Report is requested. SPOUSE does not
necessarily need to be the Consumer's Spouse, it's really the Co-Applicant.
4. The PRODUCT field dictates the product returned as a standalone product, each of these products can also be set to “Always
Return” attached to the credit report in account setup in 700Dealer..
5. Parameters which are required differ based on type of PRODUCT requested:
“CREDIT” First Name, Last Name, SSN, Address, City, State and Zip
“IDCHECK” Only the SSN is required, all other parameters will be ignored.
“OFAC” Only the First Name and Last Name are required. Everything else will be ignored.
“REDFLAG” First Name, Last Name, SSN (optional), Address, City, State and Zip
“PRESCREEN” First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State and Zip
“PREQUALIFY” First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State and Zip
“SAVEONLY” First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State and Zip
6. Access is granted to the different PRODUCTS based on the account setup in 700Dealer. Typically 95% of the requests coming from
your system will be CREDIT only which can be configured to also always contain OFAC or RedFlag. So in those instances those do
not need to be requested separately.
7. PAY Special attention to the valid values column. Invalid characters in fields will result in credit bureau errors. It is important to
drive user success rate as high as possible. Editing for these should be done at the point of entry by your system.
8. All applications submitted and returned through the XML interface are also available through 700Dealer.
9. Some of the features of the IFRAME require that 700Dealer.com be a TRUSTED SITE. Please be sure this is part of your installation
guide for your customers.
10. By default, all accounts are subject to the duplicate check. Search is based on social security number. If the application has been
modified within your system since the last submission, you should submit the App_Modified flag. This overrides this feature so it
will not be performed and request can be sent to the bureau.
11. For PRESCREEN and PREQUALIFY product, refer to Prescreen Specification Addendum. Also note that a Separate Account ID and
Password must be maintained for prescreen and prequalify in your database. This implies you will need to maintain a minimum of
two user id’s and pass
12. SAVEONLY, this product allows you to provide your users a button to push into DealerTrack, RouteOne or CUDL. The SAVEONLY
feature, takes all elements found in the inquiry string and passes them directly into the system indicated. Either DealerTrack,
RouteOne or CUDL (AppOne coming soon)

to retain this information for each request if you will not be storing the credit data on your system. This reference number can be sent
to the gateway at a later date and the original response will be returned.

VII. QuickApp & QuickQualify Products and Obtaining Data from Apps
The 700Credit QuickApp and QuickQualify products are applications dealers can incorporate into their web
sites to capture credit applications and leads from consumer’s web site. Allows the dealer to take web
applications through their web site, pulls the consumers credit report or soft pull credit report and notifies
them immediately of the applicant’s arrival. Partner/Affiliate system can be notified as well of the arrival of a
quick application. Once notified that an application has arrived, you can post a request for a previously pulled
report and allow the user to view that consumers credit report within your system.
QUICKAPP
Consumer facing credit application, which captures consumers consent to pull their credit report. Can
automatically obtain credit report and be made available to dealer. Data can be exported through ADF or
POST for third party system. Can also automatically populate into DealerTrack, RouteOne, CUDL and AppOne.
Credit applications available as single page or 3 page application. Fields available are customizable.
QUICKQUALIFY
Consumer facing pre-qualify application, only captures name and address and pulls a soft pull credit report
which does not impact consumers file. Automatically obtains soft pull credit report and can be made available
to dealer. Data can be exported through ADF or POST for third party system. Can also automatically populate
into DealerTrack, RouteOne, CUDL and AppOne.

Partner ID is a configurable field that can be returned on the ADF/XML notification allowing further insight into
which dealer received the web lead/credit application. Partner ID is provided by the customer to 700Credit.
User settings will then be updated by 700Credit to return the Partner ID in the ADF/XML notification.
Partner ID is returned in the <provider> XML Tag as shown below. Standard value of 700credit.com is returned
within the name sub XML element. If added at the configuration level, customer-designated value can be
returned.

VIII. Pushing Data to 3rd Finance Party Systems with Save Only
Credit applications received via the SAVEONLY method can be exported to following 3rd Party Systems:
RouteOne, DealerTrack, CUDL, and AppOne. Data export can occur for up to four systems simultaneously and
will be sent automatically. Data export allows you to populate all relevant deal data within the 3rd Party System
of your choice. To enable data export feature for your customer, please contact your 700Credit representative
for more information.

Duplicate Search All applications submitted can be compared against applications previously pulled. If found an
indicator will be returned in the response along with the previously pulled report.
Adverse Action Letters and Risk Based Adverse Action Letters, Privacy Notice, Risk Based Pricing Score Disclosures or other types of
Pricing Notices letters can be generated automatically and returned within the IFrame as tabs next to the credit
report tab.
Data Format Options The data behind the credit report is also available as an option to be returned with the response.

DUPLICATE SEARCH
When enabled the social security number from the inquiry is utilized to search the database to determine if this applicant was requested
for the same bureau in the last 3 days. If found the previously obtained credit report will be returned with the addition tags defined
below:

SCORE SUMMARY
Score Summary dashboard provides a single, graphical view of each of the scores provided by the credit
bureaus without having to scroll through each report for this information. Score Summary dashboard is
represented immediately above the credit report and is available by default for all users. The first score is
included in the ‘big’ dial, the second score will be represented immediately below the dial. It is available in
700Dealer, as well as via Iframe results.
SECURED IP ADDRESSES
Each dealer account will have predefined IP Addresses associated with it and security questions for their account. Only authorized IP
Addresses will be able to access the gateway. If a request is received from an unauthorized IP address, the dealer will be prompted to
answer those questions. If successful the requesting IP Address will be added to their account and their request will be processed.
The IFrame should always be returned even if the interface returns an error. The dealer user will be prompted to resolve the error.
GATEWAY ERRORS
An improper POST to the XML interface will return an error response as defined below. These errors are a result of 700Credit
validation. Upon receipt of a request, sign in information is validated as well as the requesting IP address. The required information
necessary for the request is also validated to ensure the parameters are valid.
1. If any of the required fields are blank like First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State and Zip Code then we add the required
field which was blank to the error message. For Ex. If Last Name is Blank then we are displaying the below error message.
2. The <Creditsystem_Message> element informs you that there are fields missing or invalid in your POST.
3. The <Fields_Posted> element will echo back the request that we received on the POST. Use this to check your actual POST.

4. There may be multiple error elements (<Creditsystem_Error>) present in a given return.
5. The “id” attribute will contain an identifier to help you map specific errors. See the following table for the current return
codes and their descriptions.
6. These errors indicate either a credit bureau or 700Dealer internal communication error. 700Dealer will continue to add new
messages in future; therefore we suggest that you design your programs to easily handle additions to this table.

dealer directly to enter user id and password information?

be following up with the dealer as well to ensure they understand how to pull credit from within your
system and that they understand how to monitor and fulfill compliance obligations.
DEALER NOTIFICATION
Once either of the two conditions have occurred, 700Credit will notify dealer that their account is setup and
ready to go:
▪ Notification from your organization that dealers user id and password are configured and ready to be
used.
▪ If the setup process is Dealer can enter user id and password, as soon as 700Credit’s setup process has
been completed.
▪ Welcome email that includes a quick start guide of how to pull credit from within your organizations
software, user guides on compliance products and services, training schedule for the dealer to ensure
they understand the compliance package they now have access to
▪ Follow up call to ensure dealership understands all of the information they received in the welcome
email.
