OBJECTIVE 3.2.1 Understand the main idea of short simple texts.

TEACHING Pre-lesson: Pupils are called out to share what they can and cannot do.
ACTIVITIES Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils listen to the reading from the CD and point as it goes.
2. Pupils read on their own.
3. The set of questions from the Teacher’s Book are displayed as comprehension via
Flickers.
4. Pupils answer the questions individually using the code.
Post-lesson: Pupils each gets an alphabet. Pupils go around the class the form
certain words. (e.g karate, dive, swim, paint…)
