kingdom of Zaunite is a kingdom deeply rooted
in respect and honor. For many years, they
were able to maintain great peace and
relationship among all nearby kingdoms. For
hundreds of centuries, peace and prosperity
was all there is in the land. At least, that's
what the nobles and the monarchy thought.
Living in the enclosed grandeur of the palace,
their detachment from the world beyond the
walls are clearly evident. The kingdom
annually celebrates the death of the great
Harobed II, who led his troops in the Nalc war
and succeeded, attaining peace for their
beloved land. As a sign of respect, King

deep hatred for the nobles. They may be seen
as good people, those who govern and care for
their kingdom deeply, but they do not care!
Not for the slaves.
“On midnight, when the defenses are down and
low, we strike the left wing of the palace.
Tonight, the suffering ends!”
Roars and shouts of approval resonates inside
a small pub where almost all slaves are. In
the midst of planning and sorting out weapons,
the door to the pub suddenly bursts open.
Everyone was on their defenses, fearing for
the worst that a royal guard might be the man
standing on the doorway. As the man creeped
into the light of the pub, they were surprised
to see Garthvacus Na'khan, one of the wisest
Secnar in the kingdom.
“Great Na’khan, what are you doing here?”
Rieham asks as he goes to towards the Secnar,
hands beckoning the others to bow down.
“Is success really want you believe will be
the outcome of this rebellion?” The Secnar
asked.
With wide yes, Rieham asks, “How did you kno
we are planning a rebellion?”
With a ghost of a smile and a knowing look on
his face, the Secnar turns to look at Rieham.
“I wouldn't be a Secnar if I wouldn't know.”
Garthvacus Na’khan roamed his eyes around the
pub as he sat down.
“Listen to me, Yaj’Krams. This rebellion will
only bring great destruction and loss more on
your part than to the king and queen. If you
really wish for them to pay and remember your
pain for a lifetime, a curse will surely do.”
Murmurs erupted inside the pub.
“What kind of curse will even make them feel
pain for a lifetime? They deserve to die!”
“A curse that will prevent them for bearing a
child.”
As planned, it was midnight when the Yaj’Krams
striked, not by rebellion and shedding of
blood, but through cursing the king and queen.
All of them gathered around Garthvacus Na’khan
as he chanted spells here and there, all with
fear as well a satisfaction in their eyes.
With a final spell, Garthvacus Na’khan looked
at the people with an evil smile in his face.
“It is done.” And just like that, he was gone
with the wind, the door to the pub left open.
A week after the celebration, King Harobed IV
saw his grandfather in his dreams. In the
dream, he claimed that Harobed II is asking
for a prince and so he immediately told Queen
Anavi about this as soon as he woke up. To
tell that the royal couple are excited would
be an understatement. In their excitement,
they tasked some of their slaves to gather all
the residents in front of their behemoth
castle about an announcement from the king and
queen. As the people gathered in front of the
castle, murmurs of what could be the
announcement can be heard from the people.
Rieham was among those who were thinking
deeply of what the announcement could be.
The king and queen went to the stands with
happy smiles decorating their faces. Raising
his hand as a sign to quiet down the crowd,
the king then addressed everyone.
“People of Zaunite, it is with great honor and
pleasure that your king and queen will
announce this great news. My grandfather came
to me in a dream. He wants a prince! Although
the queen is not yet pregnant, soon enough,
people of Zaunite, you will have a prince to
serve and protect!” The king was expecting
cheers of joy and wishes of happiness for
them, but all they received were mock laughter
and sneers from the people.
“And you call yourself a great king? What a
foolish man! You are cursed! And you will
never bear a child!” Soon after, the people’s
chant about the curse was all that could be
heard. Stricken with anguish and pain, the
king immediately brought his crying queen
inside the palace. In their bedroom, the queen
was inconsolable.
“My king, what shall we do? Oh, how broken my
heart is to know that we won’t be able to bear
a child.”
“Do not worry my queen, for I will make sure
that the one responsible for this curse will
pay. No matter the cost, this curse shall be
broken.”
Soon enough, the king called for his consort
and tasked him to find him a Secnar that could
reverse the curse. Days passed by and the
consort came back escorting Garthvacus
Na’khan. How cruel faith can be that who the
king and queen thought they could trust and After meeting his conditions, you need to say

Garthvacus only nodded.
“ He will only show himself if you come there
without any guards and only through walking.

CHAPTER 2 // TO REVERT A CURSE
(Forgetting)
The journey to the The Valley of Bruq of tough
for both the king and queen. The mountainous
paths were rocky and steep, some parts of the
mountainous path almost hidden by trees and
bushes. The path was dark and eery, it was as
if the forest was awake and anytime was ready
to swallow them whole.
Finally, they arrived to a clearing in
mountain leading to two different paths. The
couple agreed to take the path in the left,
where an old signage that says "Great wizard
of Olf" is carved. The royal couple were able
to complete the first half of the path without
any troubles, the queen offering a smile of
relief to his king. Midway through the path,
they encountered five goblins. The goblins in
their land were known to be vicious creatures
who show no mercy to those who dare cross
their land. They thought that they can pass
through, seeing the goblins asleep. Slowly,
the King and Queen tried to make their way
past through, but suddenly, the queen tripped
from a rock and fell off the ground. Eyes wide
with fear, one by one the goblin woke up, each
with evil smiles on their faces. Slowly
backing away ad the goblins made their way
closer, the Queen tripped again and as she
fell, found themselves again in the middle of
the routes.
"Where are we?" The Queen said,
" I don't know, I guess we should take the
left side." The King replied without
remembering where they've been a while ago.
While walking through the left path, they saw
the goblins and stripped on a rock like what
happened earlier. Again, they woke up in the
middle of the two paths.
The Queen ask her husband again, "Where are
we? There is something strange in here."
The King replied, "Yeah, the place looks
familiar like we've been here earlier. I think
were on some kind of an illusion."
After the conversation, the two decided to
turn their gears on the opposite side. The
signage slowly rotated to the right. Now that
they are desperate and got nothing to lose,
they confidently walked on the right path and
came across a big tree with a house in a
middle of a green clearing. It was only then
that The King remembered the words of the
Secnar, “And if you do find him, death and
curses shall mess with your mind on the way to
the Great Wizard.”
Hearts filled with relief and happiness, the
couple then started to chant “Awsyelk!
Awsyelk!”
Like magic, they heard a poof behind them. As
they slowly look behind, they saw the Great
Wizard of Olf.
The wizard asked them what they wanted and so
the king responded
“Greetings, Great Wizard of Olf. I am the King
of Sahagnam and this is my wife, Queen Anavi.
We are here because we were cursed to be
unable to bear a child and one wise Secnar
told us that you can revert any curses.” The
wizard replied, “Did the Secnar that brought
you here told you that it was also himself
that did the curse?”
Shock and betrayal can be seen the the eyes of
the King and Queen.
The Wizard pursed his lips. “Thought so. Yes,
that is true, I might have something to revert
the curse. In order to do that, the both of
you should digest this mighty fruit of
Ag’gnam.”
“This fruit, will it surely remove whatever
trace of the curse is left?” The royal couple
were a bit skeptic of taking the magic fruit,
after all, they were deceived by a wise old
man not too long ago.
The Wizard nodded. “This fruit when digested
will cause a great pain to the both of you
and might bring the both of you to forget
this incident and any other memory that
relates to it.”
Without any hesitation left, both took a bite
of the mighty fruit. In just seconds, both
were enveloped in agonizing pain, falling to
the ground, screaming. That was the last thing
the couple remembered.
Eyes fluttering open, the King woke up on his
bed. Groaning, he tried to lift himself up and
heard a faint shout from the outside about the
king being awake.
Chapter 3 (Operant Conditioning)
The curse to the King and Queen was broken. A
year had past and Queen Avani gave birth to a
young boy named Prince Braeden. At an early
age, King Harobed already gave a hectic
schedule for the prince. The King believes
that the prince needs
to be taught formally in different aspects in
which a prince should know and possess. So
when the time has come to rule the throne,
Prince Braeden is already equipped. The Queen
was bothered on what the King wanted because
the prince is too young to have that kind of
schedule but she couldn’t change the decision
of the king. Prince Braeden is scared of the
head castle maid, Dorothy for she is very
strict and loyal to the King and Queen; so the
prince follows all of his schedule whenever
she is around. In the morning, Prince Braeden
has to wake up by 7:00 am to have a breakfast
with the King and Queen. By 8:00 am, the
castle maids will take him to bath and groom
him for he needs to attend his class at 9:00
am about the proper usage of each utensils
with the castle cook. By 11:00 am, he’ll eat
lunch with the King and Queen then he will
play hide and seek with the castle maids. He
can only play along with other royal children
when there’s an event inside and outside the
castle. In the afternoon, he needs to learn
how to ride a pony, hold a crossbows and study
the history of the kingdom. The remaining time
of the prince is already allotted to what he
loves to do, painting. There are times that
the prince is too lazy to come to his
appointments that is why he tend to hide from
the maids. One day, after eating breakfast
with the king and the queen; Prince Braeden
asked the castle maids to play hide and seek.
The maids didn’t allowed him to play because
it is time for him to take a bath. The prince
was disappointed and run away from the maids.
The maids tried to catch him but they failed
so they look all over the place to find him.
The castle maids reported to the head castle
maid. Dorothy already have the idea where the
prince hides. She went to the pantry for the
prince loves foods but didn’t find him. She
went to the Solar for the prince loves cozy
and artistic view. She found the prince inside
the Solar. Dorothy tried to ask him to come
with her because he will be late on his
utensils lesson but he is not convinced. She
tried many times but the prince didn’t want to
come. Because of stubbornness of the prince,
she ask him to choose, first is, she will
reveal to the King his behaviour and ask him
to lock the painting room and second, if he
will come with her, she will ask the household
stuff to buy more art materials.Prince Braeden
is scared by the fact that he might be
punished by the King and also the painting
room to be lock for it is his passion to
paint. At some point, he is encouraged by the
fact that he will have more art materials. He
chose the second one and come with the head
castle maid. Dorothy met her promise to the
prince and the prince was enlightened to met
all his appointments for that day. After that
day, the prince doesn’t give a hard time to
the castle maids and attend his appointments
everyday. He behaved properly on the way a
prince should behave. On his free time, he
still enjoys to paint on canvases. Queen Avani
saw his paintings and she asked the King to
enroll Prince Braeden to an art class. The
King approved and the prince was very happy
and promised that he will do better.
Chapter 4 (Multiple Intelligence) As what King
Sahagnam promised to his child, they enrolled
him to an art class which Prince Braeden
excell the most. He asked for the help of
Harobed, the most intelligent in terms of art
among Secnars. But since it is expected that a
Prince should be versatile in his duties as a
future King of the land Zaunite, his training
to other aspects upgraded, it now focuses more
on skills and talents. Prince Breaden was
known for being lazy to something he didn't
like to do. One day, while playing the piano,
which he's not really into. He get tired to
some same old routine, and took that chance to
realize a thing. In his entire life, he never
saw what's beyond the wall. When the curse hit
the King and Queen, wherin the Great Wizard of
Wolf saved them from the curse of Yaj'Rrams.
They never announced it to everyone for the
fear that rebellion will rise up again. That
day, his curiosity take over his mind, instead
of being afraid of what the King and Queen
might say, he followed his curiosity to see
what's beyond the castle. While everyone is
busy preparing for dinner, he took that
opportunity to sneak out. He went to the town
and roam around. People are staring at him
because of his bizarre clothes he has, they
are wondering where he came from because he is
new to their eyes, but they have no idea so
they just stare for a moment and ignore it
eventually. Prince Braeden went for walk for a
about couple of time until he met this group
of people who is painting across the street.
The Prince thought that it might not be easy
to start a conversation because he never met
other people aside from the people inside the
castle. But it went unexpectedly good, he
easily connects himself to them, maybe because
they have the same passion as him. They talk
and did some art works, some Yaj'krams also
taught him new skills in painting, which made
the prince happy. They are enjoying the
company and it last until he just realized
it's late night.

Prince Braeden after that memoranle night was
punished. The whole castle was in ruckus.
Looking for the prince, maids and knights were
assigned to fifferent spots while the king and
queesn were in horror of what might happen to
their beloved son. So when he got home, he was
restricted of going out of the castle again.
Being mishievous as he is, Prince braeden
stiill does what he wants. He still manages to
escape at night when the castle is engulfed by
darkness and silence. He and the friends he
met continued to get along, deepening the ties
between them. One night, he and his friends
decided to change their routine, which is to
paint and draw around the town. They wanted to
do something new. Yram initiated that they
must go to the Ognam river and see the Yoj, a
magical flower that annually blooms at night.
According to the elders, there is a fairy that
lives in the Yoj and only goes out once a
year. It is also said that the Yoj can grant
your wish if you witness it bloom. Everyone
agreed so as prince Braeden who among them all
got the most excited. Only the light of the
moon serves as their guide. The group was on
their way when they realized that the wooden
bridge is broken. It has gaps and they cannot
cross it. They were disappointed for they were
very enthusiatic of seeing the Yoj. The group
was about to come back to the town when Primce
Braeden spotted thick planks of wood. Princee
Braeden suddenly remembered how the carpenters
repaired a flooring in the castle. He screamed
out of happiness and told his friends his
insight. They hand in hand lifted up the
planks and put it on the gaps. They
successfully ceossed the bridge and their
adventure went on. It was a long fun walk;
they discover more about one another. The
Ognam river was reached by them but no one
knows where the flower is located. They tried
to search for it but no one saw it so they
have decided to back. It might not be
sucecesful but prince Braeden and his friends
had so much fun. Before the dawn breaks, they
all got home safely while prince Braeden went
back to castle without anyone noticing.
