Engineer Oil Movement
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Incumbent assists DGM Oil Movement & Terminals in managing the Opex and Capex Budget.
• Ensures safe, efficient, smooth, and economical operations of Products Gantries and Local crude
& condensates decanting.
• Planning, monitoring, and reconciliation of finished Product stock levels in coordination with Tank
farm team and ensure its availability to OMCs on daily basis.
• Liaison with Oil Movement, OMCs & Local crude Suppliers through commercial for safe, smooth
& efficient Logistics Operation in compliance with OGRA and other best industrial practices.
• Keeps close check on Gantry and Decanting losses and proposes means to minimize these losses.
• Provides input, in consultation with DGM Oil Movement & Terminals, for daily/monthly local
crude decantation and Gantry losses and releases figures to relevant sections.
• Directs and guides Logistics operating staff. Maintains administration and discipline at Logistics
section of Oil Movement.
• Suggests modifications and improvements and reviews proposals made in this respect by
Supervisors for submission to / discussion with DGM Oil Movement & terminals.
• Responsible to provide daily instructions to staff for smooth operation even after office hours.
• To ensure compliance with all relevant HSEQ & Process Safety requirements and ISO Standards.
• Ensures the time management in day-to-day operations and effectively utilizes resources to
obtain operational excellence.
• The incumbent is aware of challenges faced during tank lorries Loading and Decanting.
