Healing with Spiritual Light

“Our Opening Ceremony and Course Introduction”

Sandra Ingerman

[MUSIC PLAYING]

SANDRA INGERMAN: So let's start by closing our eyes. I know people had lots of long
adventures today. And even though we're holding hands, I wonder if we can just take a moment.

And I'd like to ask people to think about your starting place today, from wherever it was. And
your journey over to Estes Park, to the Y Camp, to be in this amazing group of people, at this
incredible time on the planet. And just retrace your steps. And as you do that, pick up pieces of
yourself that you left in different pieces-- different parts of your journey.

Because in being in ceremony, which we'll be in the next few days together, we need to be here,
fully present, whole. So just as much as you can, feel that wholeness. Feel yourself here. The
amazing opportunity to come together in a circle like this. People traveling from different parts
of the world, different parts of the US.

I know it's been a long journey, and that's part of the work-- is the pilgrimage. The pilgrimage is
essential. And so all the troubles that you ran into from when you started to sign up from this
workshop to how you got here was all part of the pilgrimage. And the harder the pilgrimage, the
better the experience.

[LAUGHTER]

!1
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
It's a given. It's just a given, so-- so we gather together as a circle of light, as a circle of love, and
a circle filled with power. And power has nothing to do with manipulation or "power over." In
shamanism, power is stirring the pot of the divine and the sacred, and stepping fully into our own
divine light so that we can dance with the helping spirits and bring forth unlimited possibilities of
how we can transform ourselves, be a light in the world, and to help raise consciousness.

And to help people who are really struggling to find tools to navigate such incredible time of
change that we're all experiencing right now. And we all came here at this time in the planet to be
part of whatever transformation is taking place. This is our destiny. We came here at this time to
be together, to work together.

And so it's such an incredible opportunity to be able to do this dance with each other and the
spirits as we explore the different territories-- the different work that we have to do so that we
can grow into ourselves as humans, so that we can learn how to be human beings living on this
great planet Earth, from love, light, and honor and respect. And then, from that place, we can
step into the magic that shamans have known for over 100,000 years of what's possible-- of once
we step in fully and do our dance with the spirits, and honor the divine within and the divine
without.

I'll talk about this a little bit later, but I asked that this workshop be filmed so that this work is
available to generations in the future. Because there's so much inspiration that comes out of this
work. There's so much that we can share that will help people in future times.

And so, as you all know, the work of shamanism is done outside of time. And so our online
community that will be watching for years to come are actually here now, because we're outside
of time. So everybody called to this course has already heard the call throughout time. So we
have another opportunity of hopefully tens of thousands of others watching this course and being
with us throughout these days that come.

!2
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
And so we want to welcome all of you who have made this incredible pilgrimage to come and be
at this gathering. And we want to welcome all of you global travelers in non-ordinary reality
throughout the world who are joining our circle. Welcome. Welcome, everybody. Thank you for
coming.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

This work is not mine. This work was shared with me from spirit, and so it does not belong to
me. It belongs to spirit. It belongs to you. There's absolutely nothing you cannot go and teach
that you do not have my blessings for in this workshop.

I will talk about teaching this material, especially to populations of people who can't hear about
shamanic journeying and about shamanism. This particular work-- you actually don't need
shamanic journeying to do this work. The only reason I make it as a prerequisite is I'm too lazy
to do guided visualizations in all my workshops. [CHUCKLES]

And so I just ask that everybody journey, and then I don't have to worry about it. But I think
many of you know I've taught this work to fundamentalist Christians, and so I'll share with you
exactly how I do that. The languaging, everything.

So the workshop is for you to have an experience. But then also, to take the work back into your
communities, to your families, to your friends, businesses. So I'll answer questions and share as
much as I can of how you can actually integrate this work into a variety of different populations
of people.

And so I'd like to talk about the work. There are two phases of the work. There are two different
parts of the work. And one of the conversations that I've been having recently-- actually, with
two different shamanic teachers-- is it's really interesting to look at the evolution of shamanism

!3
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
in the Western world. Because in a lot of ways, how we're approaching shamanism in the West is
backwards.

In a shamanic culture-- and I'm not trying to over-romanticize shamanic cultures. They were
human beings. Still are. We still have people living in vibrant shamanic cultures as human beings
living on planet Earth. There's that duality that comes in-- separation.

We all have shadow sides. We all have projections that come up. We all have issues that come
up. So as long as we're dealing with humans, we're always going to be dealing with certain
challenges coming up. It's just how different people were raised and how people approach
different challenges.

And in shamanic cultures, children were brought up to understand how to respond in honoring
ways and with respect and at a love for the community. And so there was a lot of work by the
helping spirits themselves, but also the people of the community, to shape community members
into people who had their own human issues, just like everybody else does. Not enlightened
people.

But how do you approach challenges? And how do you work with challenges so that you're
coming from a place of honor and respect? And you've done your personal work, and you're not
just reacting, and you're not just projecting, but you've done a lot of your inner work.

So a lot of the work of a shamanic community was about what was going on inside of people--
their psyches and their inner world and their inner territories. That was the first thing that got
developed. And then, shamanic practices were introduced into the community. And what's
happening in the Western world, in the time that we live in, is that people are jumping into
shamanic practices before learning how to actually be a human being. [CHUCKLES]

!4
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
And so with the work that we're doing, we're combining both. We're combining both aspects,
where we're going to be doing these amazing ceremonies and looking at bringing in a very
different perspective into our healing modalities that many of you are probably not working with.
And if you have shamanic clients, are going to find just an amazing wealth that comes with
bridging some of the work that we're going to do in this workshop. So it'll be pretty amazing. But
then at the same time, we're going to be doing exercises to keep going within, exploring the
shadow-- exploring how to be a responsible person who's stepping fully into the world of
shamanism.

So that's part of what I wanted to share about the work that we're doing. And I'd like to share a
little bit of the story about getting into the work. And it's really heartwarming to have Gail here,
because Gail and my husband, Woods, who's over here, were part of the original experiment that
we ever did.

And so just a little bit of history is I have my degree in marine biology, and I just really love
water, especially rivers. I'm a real river person. Living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, I'm missing a
bit of that, although we do have the Rio Grande, although we never go up to see it.

And as I was doing my studies, I wondered-- I was living a lot up in Oregon, and the waters were
so pristine. But you could see that things were starting to change. Pollutants were being thrown
into rivers. And so I had a wondering. I didn't know if it was possible, but I had a wondering:
Could we use science to reverse river pollution?

And I started to explore that a little bit, and I ended up applying to get my masters in biology.
And the only reason I got accepted to school in Washington-- wasn't on my grades-- it was on my
thesis proposal of-- Can we reverse river pollution using scientific methods?

!5
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
And as I was going through the paperwork and doing all the registration, I realized, "I'm not a
scientist. I miss working with people." And I abandoned the whole idea, and I ended up going-- I
thought-- going 360 degrees. And ended up getting my master's in counseling psychology.

But you never know how the universe plays with you, because by showing me how to journey,
by learning how to journey, the spirits started to plant the seed in me that you can actually make
more progress using spiritual methods to reverse environmental pollution and river pollution than
working with science. So it's almost like I had this intention of what I wanted to do, and the
spirits picked me up and put me down somewhere. And so it was a real gift, learning shamanic
journeying.

And I did. Most people know me for soul retrieval and teaching healing out in the world. But as I
was doing that, I was journeying on this issue of-- How do we spiritually transform what's
happening environmentally? And I was also reading like crazy, because we know about miracles.
We know about miracle healings. And so if there can be miraculous healings for people,
miraculous healings for animals, why can't we have miraculous healings for the environment?

So I started to read different books from different traditions. I didn't-- I wanted to look more--
not just shamanism. I didn't want to just explore the shamanic viewpoint. I really wanted to
explore how different traditions worked with miracles.

So of course, I always read shamanic stories, and so I know a lot of shamanic stories. So I had
those stories already embedded in me. But I started to read about miracles from Christianity, the
Hebrew traditions, the Eastern traditions-- I just really read whatever books that I could. I got
really into alchemy. And alchemy was one of those places where I really saw how long the
initiate has to practice before ever being introduced to the divine.

And we just don't have that kind of time anymore. We have to speed up a bit. We don't have
years before we can let people know-- "Did you know that you're more than a body and a mind?

!6
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
You're actually spirit, too." And it would take years before that would ever be introduced in
alchemy.

And so I looked at all these different areas, and I was looking for threads about what different
shamans, mystics, masters, traditions talked about when they talked about miraculous healings.
What went into a miraculous healing? Not just the kind-- there's those miracles where you go to
Lourdes and drink some water and have a miraculous healing.

What happens when you're actually doing ceremonial work to create some kind of miraculous
healing, where it just doesn't happen spontaneously? So I wasn't looking at spontaneous miracles.
I was more looking at when people come together to perform ceremony to create some kind of
major change.

And I came up with different elements that are really important that I could see went into every
tradition. You could read a book and this element was in every single tradition. And I found
seven different elements. They're not in an order. They're kind of like a gestalt. You have to put
them all together-- take them all together.

Intention is so key in every tradition when it comes to performing miracles. It's always about-- or
any kind of healing or any kind of ceremony to manifest anything-- What's your intention? Every
spiritual tradition asks you to speak about your intention. What's your intention? That's really
key.

A very obvious element is love. And love is-- as you know, love is a very misunderstood term in
our culture, because we always associate love with personal love, or we typically associate love
with personal love. And in miracles, we're talking about that divine love-- that unconditional
love.

!7
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
In one of my near-death experiences, I actually went to God-- what I saw was God. And I'll talk
again about this more in the workshop later on. And I was actually standing next to Hitler as I
was in front of God.

And I grew up in an immigrant family neighborhood in Brooklyn, and I had a lot of friends'
parents who had been in the camps. And so this was a big part of my reality growing up. And so
to be standing in front of God and have Hitler standing next to me was huge. It would be for
anybody.

And the only thing that really struck me was that there was no personal connection between me
and God. God loved me as much as God loved Hitler. We were both getting the same divine light
shining on us. And that was such an amazing lesson.

I was only a teenager when I got this, and that was huge. And that's the kind of love-- that
unconditional, nonjudgmental-- the love of the Creator, creating life, creating all of this for-- and
everything that we're working out here, all the lessons that we're working out here, all the roles
that we're playing, the play of life. It was created out of this unconditional love.

And so that's the state that a practitioner or a shaman-- those miraculous healings by shamans. If
you've ever watched a shaman be able to perform one of those, they're only exuding love and
light. And it's that presence that creates the healing. It's not what they do. It's the presence.

So we always use the term, "It's love that heals." But it really is love that heals. If we just open
up to a place of unconditional love, you never need to learn another healing method. That's all
you really need, is that presence.

Because we really don't understand that in shamanic cultures, shamans don't really work with
methods. There's something else going on behind the method. The method is really show. There's
a presence.

!8
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
There's a working that goes on within the divine self of the shaman and the divine of the helping
spirits that creates that magical energy that can create a miraculous healing. The rest that's going
on is just-- it's just to distract people's minds so that the spiritual work can go to a deeper place.
And so love is a really important element in working, trying to transform what we're dealing with
on the planet today.

So we have intention. We have love. Harmony-- in alchemy, it's taught that harmony within
creates harmony without. One of the most important elements, and we're going to be focusing on
this pretty much all day tomorrow and in our ceremony, is unity.

In life, we have different realms of existence. And here, we're in Earth's school. This is the
middle world-- what shamans call the "middle world." The middle world is a great place. We get
to eat chocolate and we get to see incredible beauty.

We get to dance together. We get to laugh. We get to smell. We get to taste. Spirits don't get to
smell roses. They don't know what chocolate tastes like. Why do you think everybody's trying to
get in? What do you think overpopulation is about?

[LAUGHTER]

All these spirits want sensory experiences. And life on Earth is about having a sensory
experience and having this amazing body that can dance in life, and sing in life, and see beauty,
and experience beauty. And-- but what goes along with that is separation and duality, and feeling
that separation.

And then we have another whole dimension of reality, where it's a transcendent reality. And this
is where the helping spirits come from. And this is a very big topic that we'll be dealing with this
week, because I absolutely believe, 1,000 percent, in every single cell of my body, that the

!9
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
reason why we're not seeing more miraculous healings happening today is because we've put too
much form on our helping spirits.

The spirits don't have a form. They're just energy. They're just spirit. And they can do anything.
They can create a miracle at any point. They have that divine power to do that, if they want to
step in.

They don't want to take away the pilgrimage to evolution. We have to do the journey. We have to
do the pilgrimage. But they have an enormous amount of power. But we're so stuck in the West
of-- "It's an eagle, it's a bear, it's Isis, it's a tree."

And we've put-- costumes, form, skin, body. And we've taken away that unlimited power of the
spirits. We've made them small. And what would happen if we finally worked with the spirits in
their true form? Which is formlessness.

Some people burst into tears when I say this in the workshop, because they're so dependent on
their power animal and teacher. And all of a sudden, I'm telling them that "your tiger isn't a tiger
and your bear isn't a bear." My power animal is my buddy. On Earth plane, Sandy is still stuck at
five, and really needs my power animal as my buddy.

And so Sandra Ingerman, Sandy, whatever name you want to call me, I do-- I work with my
power animal. I work with Isis. I work with a variety of spirits that come into my life. And I
really depend on them to be my buddies. I'm not willing to just always see them in a formless
realm. But when I do my spiritual work, we all drop form. [CHUCKLES]

You don't want to take that form with you. And so we're really part of what's stopping the
progress with our healing work from a shamanic point of view, is-- we're using too many
methods. We're creating a factory of practitioners. Everybody thinks they have to work the same

!10
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
way. You have to shake the rattle four times and all of that. And that's distracting people from
really going into the depths of what spirit has to bring through.

And we're putting too much form on everything. The client is this sick, poor form. You are the
practitioner. I'm just this neurotic practitioner. And my helping spirit is now in a form. So you
have a form trying to come through another form to somebody you're labeling as a "sick form."
And then we wonder why we don't have all the energy available to us to move the work to a
much higher frequency and a much higher vibration than we can.

So that's a really important part of the work, and it all goes back to that element of unity. You
can't have a form and have these miraculous healings happen. And so some of the few examples
that I've given of this is somebody like Sai Baba, who-- very controversial figure, but nobody
can refute his miracles.

And he has a beautiful, poetic way of saying this. But he talks about that "the only difference
between me and you is I know I'm God, and you don't." And it's true. That's why he can do-- he
knows who he is. He knows who his authentic self is. And then he can do those miracles.

I don't believe everything I read, but I had a client who actually did go to see Sai Baba, and she
was in an audience of thousands of people. And she had actually lost her wedding ring down the
sink years before. And she's in this audience of thousands of people, and Sai Baba walks up to
her and says, "Have you been looking for this?" And gives her back her wedding ring. She came
back to Santa Fe and told me that story. That was pretty remarkable.

And I do live in Santa Fe, and Ammachi comes through Santa Fe. And she's known for her
miraculous healings also. And when she really gets into that state in the middle of the night-- it's
not until the middle of the night when she gets into that state, 3:00 in the morning-- she is not
Ammachi; she is the Divine Mother.

!11
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
She's not connecting to the Divine Mother. She's not journeying to the Divine Mother. She is the
Divine Mother. And when she gets into that state of "only oneness," that's when she heals lepers
and all the other amazing things that she's able to do.

And then I always like to talk about Jack Schwarz, because he is such an inspiration. For those of
you who aren't familiar with Jack Schwarz, he was in the Dutch resistance during the war. And
he was captured and put in camp, and he was tortured for information.

And as he was being tortured, his wounds would actually close up. And once he got out of the
camp, he moved to America, and he actually went on the whole talk show circuit. And when he
was on talk shows, they'd take these long sail needles. And they'd dip them in virulent bacteria,
and then they would put it through his arm.

And not only when they took the needle out was there no wound puncture, mark, anything, he
never got any of the illnesses that was in the needle. And when everybody asked him, "Jack,
what are you doing? How do you do this?" He said, "When somebody is doing this to me, there
is no Jack Schwarz." There is no Jack Schwarz. There's only one. And when there's only one, you
can't be hurt.

And that's amazing. He couldn't keep that up until he died, but he gave an amazing message to
the planet. And a real teaching for us, that it's when we get so attached to our form that that's
where the illnesses can really set in.

So unity is a very key part. So, so far, we've talked about intention, love, harmony, union--
unity-- and concentration and focus. I put them together. They're different, but they're essential
parts of the work that we're doing.

Another issue in the West is-- "We don't know how to concentrate. We're just too stressed out.
We can't concentrate." And so when you're trying to do a miraculous ceremony, and you keep

!12
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
thinking about something else, or you keep thinking about your emails or what you're going to
have for dinner, where's the energy going to come in for the ceremony?

And I took two groups to Egypt. And when you go to Egypt-- I don't know how many of you had
the opportunity to go to Egypt. But when you go to Egypt, you have all these Egyptologists who
are telling you how everything's built-- how the statues are built, how the pyramids are built. And
you're standing right there and you're looking at them and you know that it's impossible. There
was no way that what the Egyptologists are saying could have been used to build these statues
and structures.

So I decided to journey on-- I went to the ancient Egyptians and I asked them in a journey, "How
did you build these structures?" And their answer to me was really fascinating. It was really
short, and I got it immediately. They said to me, "You don't have the slightest clue of what the
word 'concentration' means." And that was their only answer.

But if you see these, you know they were using psychic phenomena. They had to. There was no
other way. They couldn't physically be built. But you need an amazing amount of concentration.
And if you reflect for a minute whether you have that level of concentration-- we all have to ask
ourselves that question. But it really is a key element in doing the work, is learning how to be
disciplined and hold those states of concentration longer.

And to add to that, we have focus. And so back in the '80s, one of my helping spirits was the
goddess Inanna. She just appeared in my life. And when Inanna appeared in my life, she only had
one message for me. She stayed with me for a very short period of time, and she made me do this
journey over and over and over again.

She would have me walking in a world that was completely devastated-- filled with devastation.
And she forced me throughout all my work, all my spiritual practices, to keep my eye on my end
focus, and to never look left and to never look right. So to never know what was happening

!13
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
outside. But just that I was on this path, doing my work, holding this focus, without having any
information whether it was working or not.

And that was in the '80s, and I didn't really understand what a profound teaching she was trying
to give me at that time. And I really saw with-- you can see it with everything. But when 9/11
happened-- and I was teaching a workshop during that time. I was teaching soul retrieval.

You could see how we'd be doing this healing work to do the cycle pump or to help people. We
were doing everything we could to join in. But you could see how quickly people lost their
focus. And one of the issues that we're dealing with is-- What do you do when you're doing all
these ceremonies and you're doing all this work, but the outcome you wanted didn't manifest in
the timeline that you wanted? And that's what's happening in our culture.

So what happens is, there was a-- Emmet Fox talks about this. I really like the image that he
uses. He goes-- you have a camera. You're looking at what you want. You've got your camera
right on what you want. But before you take the picture, you're looking at what didn't work out.
And then you're looking at what didn't work out over here.

You never get what you're going for, because you don't hold your focus. You have to keep the
camera on the focus or you're not going to get the picture. And that's really true. We want that
immediate gratification of-- "We did a ceremony-- we did a healing ceremony-- and we want to
see the planet healed. We want to see all species healed. We want to be healed ourselves."

We want instantaneous gratification in our culture, and that's not how spiritual work works. It has
its own timing. The spirits understand its own timing. Our own soul understands the timing of
when things are supposed to happen. It's our ego, it's our minds, it's our personality, that doesn't
always understand. And so focus is really key.

!14
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
And then the last element that is really crucial that we're going to work with a lot is imagination.
And again, in the West, we tend to think of imagination as making things up. But imagination is
a God-given gift. We were all given this gift of imagination. And everything that we see, feel,
hear, taste, smell in our outer world is because we're imagining it.

Everything is around imagination. Everything we see in the middle world manifests through
imagination. And so we have to be able to fire up our imagination when we're doing any kind of
healing work, any kind of spiritual work, to be able to imagine that desired outcome fully with
every single sense. So we'll be working on that, too. And so the seven elements that are really
important are: intention, love, harmony, union, concentration, focus, and imagination.

So I did all this research. And then also, I went to Egypt. And it was really interesting, because
my first trip to Egypt was when the massacre occurred. And every single group from the US
canceled except for my group, because I had journeyed to Isis.

And she actually said, "You can't cancel the trip. The group is at 30,000 feet. You can't jump off
the airplane. The plane has already left, so you all have to get there."

And so we went to Egypt at a very uncomfortable time. And it wasn't a particularly safe time,
either. But nobody was over there. So we had all the time in the world to be in the temples and
the pyramids. And the guards let us in everywhere for as long as we wanted, and they were so
grateful that we didn't cancel and that we actually came. And so I had a tremendous amount of
time to really meditate with some of the pictographs and some of what I was seeing, and really
download quite a lot of information.

So before I was getting on the plane, about two weeks before I was leaving-- so we're dealing
with the State Department. We're dealing with families that don't want their family members
coming with us. We're dealing with all of this. Isis says to me, "It's time for you to start writing
your book on reversing environmental pollution." And I said, "Isis, I'm trying to pack."

!15
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
[LAUGHTER]

So that was how Medicine for the Earth got started-- was right before my first trip to Egypt. And
I finished it after my second trip going over to Egypt. And so after I came back from my first trip
to Egypt, I had a dream with the Egyptian god, Anubis, which I'll talk about tomorrow. And he
really gave me the key to the work that we're going to be working with, of transfiguration.

So I had no students who I had told about any of this work. I was working with this all privately.
And Gail and I were having a conversation. I really can't remember how the conversation
emerged, it was so long ago. But she said, "How about if you send what you're writing to me, a
friend, Diana, and Kate? And we read Medicine for the Earth as you're writing it, and then we
can give you some feedback and maybe do some work.”

So I wrote the book. It was a different book, because my other books-- first I worked on people
and then I wrote the book. With Medicine for the Earth, first I wrote the book and then we did
experiments to see if anything worked that I wrote.

And so Woods and I went to a water company in Santa Fe. This would only happen in Santa Fe.
And we told them that we wanted to do spiritual ceremonies on water to see if we could
transform pollution.

So the whole entire company showed up, including the receptionist, the secretary-- they were all
really excited. And we sat at this long table and we bounced ideas back and forth for a really long
period of time. What water company would be willing to embrace a concept like this?

And so we came up with this really insane, crazy idea. And it was more insane than I even
realized when we did it. We worked with gasoline and water. And the water company didn't

!16
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
know how much gasoline to tell us to put in the water, so we put way too much gasoline into the
water.

So there was a test. We had to send the gasoline and water to a lab after the experiment was over.
So Gail and Kate and Diana drive down to Santa Fe to Woods' and my house. And we have this
gasoline and water that we're going to transform into purified water. [CHUCKLES]

And Diana's husband, Dick, is a well-known physicist. And he told Diana about ammonium
hydroxide, which is a common pollutant on the planet and in water, and that we could easily test
before and after. We didn't have to send it to a lab. We could test putting the ammonium
hydroxide in the water-- and then just using pH strips to test afterwards.

And then Kate-- is it club soda? Did we use club soda? I think it was club soda. There's a certain
type of club soda that actually, if you hold it under a special light, it's blue.

AUDIENCE: Quinine.

SANDRA INGERMAN: Yeah.

AUDIENCE: [INAUDIBLE]

SANDRA INGERMAN: Yeah. So we had quinine. So we had gasoline and water-- this is all in
our living room-- ammonium hydroxide, and water and quinine. Kate and Woods spent half the
night with their heads out the door trying to breathe. The fumes were unbelievable.

I went into this incredibly ecstatic unified state, and I was smearing the gasoline and water all
over my body-- all over my face. I wanted to love it and caress it. And I really went into a state
of bliss and a state of union. This was the most perfect substance on the planet. [CHUCKLES]

!17
Ingerman Healing with Spiritual Light
So they're trying to get air. I'm covered in gasoline. [CHUCKLES] And so we spent two days
like this. It was pretty interesting.

The very first night, what we did (and this is the last thing I'm going to share, and then we'll take
a break) I wanted to try-- again, I really didn't know what we were doing. So we were truly
experimenting.

The very first night, I called in every helping spirit-- every god or goddess from every tradition
that I ever heard of. And I said, "Fix the water. We're going to stand here. We're going to stand in
the circle. We're going to drum and rattle. You fix the water."

Well, it turns out, they did. We didn't know it, but they did. When we got the water tested, it was
amazing-- the results. Then the next night, what we did is I asked all those same spirits to just
watch us, and not do a thing. No help, no prayers, no magic coming from the spirits. "You're our
audience"-- watching us to see what we're doing.

And then we transfigured, and we got into our divine state, and we became spirits. And we toned
and saw the water with the ammonium hydroxide, the gasoline, the quinine in its divine state.
And we got exactly the same results.

And that was a real wake-up call, because we're always acting as little kids, asking the spirits to
come fix everything for us. But actually, we have that same power, and we're not allowing
ourselves to get in touch with that. And that's what we're going to do this week.

We're going to work through some of our humanness, some of our shadow, some of our

honoring our shadow nature, but knowing how to work with it so that we're working with it in
responsible ways, just like people did in shamanic cultures. And then we're also going to work

with-- How do we access those parts of ourselves that have exactly the same power as the
helping spirits? But we're always projecting that power onto an outer force instead of ourselves.

And so that's putting this all together. Now we're going to take a break. And then we'll call in the
spirits and set up our space.
