Attorney General Gentner Drummond
Office of the Attorney General
313 NE 21st Street
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73105

Dear Attorney General Drummond,

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your stance on the Richard Glossip death penalty case. I
know you've faced a lot of criticism and negative comments from district attorney's and others in the legal
system, and I appreciate your commitment to standing up for what you believe in.

As a result of my involvement in the Glossip case, I have been asked to represent other death penalty cases.
While I have been a strong supporter of the death penalty in the past and somewhat reluctant to involve myself in
other cases, I have completed an initial review of Anthony Sanchez's case, and I believe there is a significant
issue with the processing of DNA evidence in death penalty cases in Oklahoma. Specifically, I believe that it
would be prudent to reprocess the DNA evidence in cases where there are questions about its accuracy, as this
would either confirm guilt or produce reasonable doubt.

I understand that the legal system in Oklahoma can sometimes be lacking, and it is important to ensure that justice
is served in every case. With this in mind, I am writing to request your assistance in reprocessing the DNA
evidence in Mr. Sanchez's case. I believe that this would be a critical step towards ensuring that the death penalty
process is fair and just, not just in this case but in other like it.

As you're likely aware, there have been a number of issues raised with death penalty cases in Oklahoma in recent
years, and I believe that it is imperative for our government to go the extra mile to restore confidence in the
Oklahoma Death Penalty process. Whole I understand your knowledge of this case likely exceeds my own, I
believe that the reprocessing of DNA evidence could be an important step in the right direction.
Thank you for your consideration of this matter, and for all you do to uphold the principles of justice in our state

Sincerely,

State Representative Justin JJ Humphrey
