HUMSS 12 CORAZON AQUINO

Reflection in Media and Information Literacy

Before the symposium started, our teacher, sir john joseph vivas, informed us
that we will have a big event for Grade 11 students who will soon be in Grade 12.
The big event our teachers talked about is the "Symposium," focusing on media
information literacy. Before this significant event, we, Grade 12 students from
HUMSS, were divided into two groups per section and assigned different roles.
These roles included intermissions, documentaries, speakers, and attendants. Each
section had a key person responsible for making the event successful. We also
created trailers and a ticket program to encourage Grade 11 students to attend the
symposium.

After dividing the sections and assigning key persons for the upcoming
symposium, and creating trailers and ticket programs, we contributed a small amount
of money for the event. Grade 12 Ramos played a crucial role in increasing the
contribution by setting up a booth with a mythical theme that was visited by students.
The booth's earnings were added to the overall contribution for the symposium.

Before the day of the presentation, other preparations were made, including
the arranging of the chairs in the gymnasium where the event would be held. After
completing all the preparations, we managed to make the symposium a success
event. We wholeheartedly encouraged Grade 11 students to attend and listen to the
guest speakers we invited to the school
