How to Collect an Auto Dump for VSP G/F350 G/F370 G/F700 G/F900

From Remote Ops Monitor

Objective
This procedure will allow a customer to collect dump logs from a VSP G/F350 G/F370 G/F700 G/F900 for GSC
analysis.

Environment
• VSP G/F350 G/F370 G/F700 G/F900
◦ VSP G350, G370, G700, G900
◦ VSP F350, F370, F700, F900
• Remote Ops (Hi-Track) Monitor (HTM)

Procedure
1. Open Remote Ops (Hi-Track) Monitor in a web browser http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:6696

2. Select Summary from main menu

3. Locate the device to collect a dump from Devices Okay item menu

4. Click on the D button on left side of box that contains the device Status

5. Scroll to bottom of the screen and select the appropriate dump type

6. Choose dump type recommended by GSC, then Input CASE number in Optional Parameters
box and click on LogFetch.

7. The following message will appear to notify the dump is in process.

8. To confirm transfer, click on Transport History menu, scroll down to Transport History Display.
The display will auto refresh and show the status on completion of transfer.

Additional Notes
The choices for Remote Ops (Hi-Track) Monitor dump types are Quick, System, Performance, Mode31, FMD, SVP, and
Config.

Please choose the option recommended by GSC.
