2. Any request in respect to pending cases not listed in the cause list before any Court but require urgent hearing,
shall be made by filing of a separate application under Rule 161 of the Rajasthan High Court Rules, 1952 and such
application will thereupon be placed before the Court as early as possible for appropriate orders.
3. Any request in respect to fresh cases not listed in the cause list before any Court but require urgent listing shall
ordinarily be made at 08.00 am before Presiding Judge of the roster bench.

5. In view of the office Memorandum No. F18(4)/2014-Judl. dated 07-11-2014 of the Government of India,
Ministry of Law and Justice, Department of Legal Affairs, as the distribution of the briefs in matters relating to
Union of India/Central Government in Rajasthan High Court, both at Principal Seat Jodhpur and Bench at Jaipur
has been assigned to the Additional Solicitor General of India for the Rajasthan High Court, it is provided that
hence forth all writ petitions in which Union of India or the Central Government or any of its Ministry or
Department are party, an advance notice shall be served in the office of ASGI, Rajasthan High Court either at
Jodhpur or Jaipur, as the case may be, before filing the same in the High Court and it shall be the duty of the ASGI,
Rajasthan High Court to ensure that the briefs are properly distributed and the counsel to whom the briefs are
allotted, appears in the Court whenever the matter is taken up for consideration.
6. It is notified to all concerened that 30 years or more than 30 years old cases shall be listed under head
“Specifically Fixed Matters” in the Specific Benches irrespective of the order of roster. “Specifically fixed
Matters” shall continue to be assigned to the specific Benches till their disposal and will not change even on the
change of the Roster. These matters will be taken up for hearing in Post-Lunch Session and ordinarily no
adjournment shall be granted in these matters.
