With reference to the subject above, I, Ho Yuan Zhan, am writing this letter to express my
interest in any vacant position for cyber security internship at Techlab Security Sdn. Bhd. As
a student from Asia Pacific University (APU), I am currently in semester two of my second-
year degree, majoring in bachelor’s in computer science with specialism in Cyber Security.

Upon graduating, I planned to step into the world of cyber to gain more quality experience
and enhance my knowledge surrounding the cyber world. Joining your organisation which
has been in the industry for a long time will be the start of a big forward leap for me in terms
of absorbing all the possible innovative ideas and prepare me for the upcoming challenging
tasks that I am bound to face in the future.

Majoring in computer science would mean that one is tasked to learn certain programming
languages suited for the course taken. In other words, as a cyber security student, I have
learnt several programming languages which include Java, C++, PHP, CSS, HTML, and
assembly language. The process of learning these languages requires a lot of logical and
creative thinking skills, which has greatly improved my way of coming up with solutions for
different problems.
