|.am grateful to you for giving me an opportunity to introduce myself. | am born and brought up in Mumbai itself. My family consist of 5 members including me. Talking about family, my father hhas always been for me in terms of my needs and helping us to fulfill my dreams and mother has always supported me emotionally and mentally. My interest in reading and writing was from a very young age. | used to read lots of books, | also create my own poetry's and quotes and sometimes even a story. | always took part in drama, elocution, science related such as Homi Bhabha, Olympiads, etc. Now as a 23-year-old individual I think, life for me is a purposeful growth. ‘The most intrinsic part of this growth is the value system imbibed by my parents, teachers, ‘mentors. As | finished my High School, | took admission in Bachelors with Thakur college of Science and Commerce which is one of the top 10 colleges in Mumbai, The interest in science came from my Junior College. As | was in my junior college in my first year I got interested to science, there was a chapter called Genomics and my professor taught it In a manner that | became curious for learning about living organisms, its structure, DNA, networks of diseases etc. This gave me the direction to pursue my career in field of pharmacy as it related to medicines, diseases, genes, etc. it is mainly concerned about how the drugs react in their particular way, how the dosage form is designed, how the heretical diseases be treated and much more. When | was in my Bachelors, there were certain subjects like Human Anatomy Physiology, Cosmetic Science, Microbiology, and others. In every little aspect of our lives. in my first year of college, During the HAP lecture when professor explains about chemical reactions going on in the brain and the reactions of drugs such as Morphine, Heroin, and other narcotics which causes harm to the brain to such a vast level. | got interested in listening to such a dynamic and fascinating information, | wanted to engross more of what was being said and | got very curious to know about it. | have done a project on a drug named Heroin in which | learnt many things about that opioid drug, the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, metabolism, distribution, absorption, and excretion of ‘that small molecule. However, in pharmaceutical analysis, | was able to use the UV spectrophotometer and could identify the quantification without anyone’s help that day | understood how much important pharmaceutical science is for my career. In college, | always enjoyed long hours in labs, which gave me opportunity to correlate theory to practical and this gave me a better understanding towards pharmaceutical science and newer lines of logic. In the second year, | was introduced to Medicinal chemistry where just a double bond made so many unstable reactions, | was unable to count the seconds. While practical’s, we were introduced to colorimeter, magnetic stirrer, and many other complex equipment’s which | usually enjoyed taking the readings as | found it very simple. The most interesting part was the chromatography when there was a precise separation of two components without any extra efforts. In such cases, analyses could be done in seconds. As the time passed, I realized how much importance does pharmacy has in my career, As per my thinking Pharmaceutics is such a branch of a person who has a heart to feel and mind to understand in depths and application highly diverse as well as expanding by leaps and bounds cannot resist himself without choosing career in this field especialy in the area of formulation of dosage form which has proven to be a powerful area in research which surmounts various formulations of new chemical entities. | chose pharmaceutical science that offers ample scope of research activities and these parallels with my MS degree of Pharmaceutical Science which is leading me to UK. Though India has world-class education institutes like IIMs and IITs which can really compete with the world, we are still miles behind in providing better education to undergraduates and post- graduates. Its very much evident that the Indian education system is not updated in comparison to the UK. One of the core reasons is that the education system in India focuses more on theory than practical. Here education system doesn’t allow to be creative, whereas in the UK they emphasize ‘more on practical based learning and allow creativity in education. In UK we get a high-quality education at the world’s best universities. The teaching staff are Professional and are industry trained. We are entitled to work in internships during our studies which can benefit us to get an international exposure and growth in the pharma industry. Degree courses are of shorter duration like a Master's Degree can be completed in 1 year. We study and interact with the international students which can be useful in your future endeavors. With international exposure, you have an edge and a fresher can even enter mid-level management with higher pay. The standard of living is of high quality and the entry requirements are low, so itis easy to get admission. Apart from all the benefits the visa procedure is easy. The UK is full of interesting and unique cultures, especially in cities with universities. It’s not only the British culture we can learn about and experience. We can also learn more about cultures ‘that originate in places such as China, Hong Kong, Poland due to the diverse population. Regardless of where we live in the UK, we can experience the food and traditions of people from all over the world. The UK is a multicultural country, with a large population of people who have come from a different place. So, not only are there many cultures to experience and a lot of British history to enjoy, the UK also has a very large Indian population. This means that if you're feeling homesick, it's easy to find areas and restaurants which can remind you of home (also, universities have dedicated support systems in place if you need someone to talk to). Plus, if you want a traditional Indian ‘meal, it’s easy to find a number of authentic restaurants, especially in larger cities and also UK is a country where people make the most of their leisure time and there are lots of sports and social activities to get involved with. Each university has a large list of societies that you'll be able to Join, where you can try a new sport, learn a new skill, develop a hobby and make friends while you're doing it. smongst the most prestigious universities located in East Anglia, United Kingdom. ARU is bal university with students from 185 countries coming to study. The university of the top 350 institutions in the world in The Times Higher Education chose ARU because of the excellent support they give to all the want to go to ARU because it offers excellent courses such as pharmaceutical science which interest. Also the modules are interesting when it comes to practical learning. There are many known people who gave me pragmatic reviews about ARU. Also | would like to mention about the placements given by college. | am inspired by all this and that's why | would like to apply to ARU. World University Ran! student and got inspired to st
