MEIYU INTENSIVE and TOCFL curriculum. Designed to maximise our
CERTIFICATION students scope in career advancement and in
COURSE availing prestigious scholarships available in
Mandarin.

Meiyu Intensive Chinese course = HSK + TOCFL

What is HSK ?

The HSK is a standardised international Chinese pro ciency test by Mainland

China. There are nine levels of HSK, ranging from Level 1 (equivalent to beginner
pro ciency) to Level 9 (equivalent to advanced pro ciency). The HSK is
recognized by universities and employers in China and is a requiremnet when
applying for scholarships in Mainland China.

What is TOCFL ?

TOCFL stands for "Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language," which is a

standardized test used to assess the Chinese language pro ciency of non-native
speakers. There are six levels of TOCFL, ranging from Level 1 (equivalent to
beginner pro ciency) to Level 6 (equivalent to advanced pro ciency). The
TOCFL is a requirement when ling for the prestigious Huayu Enrichment
Scholarship to study Mandarin in Taiwan.

 Placement Cell

MeiYu has an active placement cell that always keeps the students
updated on potential jobs in the market for their relevant levels.
This support is provided to the students during and after the completion
of their courses. Some notable companies that have held on-campus
interview at MeiYu include OPPO, Maxxis Tyres, Longli Technology,
Holitech . Companies where MeiYu students have been placed include
Tata Motors, Miniso, Holiday Inn to name a few.

Taiwan Government Scholarship

Every year the Government of Taiwan awards
Indian Students the prestigious Huayu
Enrichment Scholarship to study in Taiwan.
The scholarship aims to help scholarship
recipients acquire a better command of
Mandarin Chinese and to promote friendship
between Taiwan and India. MeiYu students
have been successfully making it to the
selection list every year.

We organise monthly Chinese cultural activities at our institute such as

Calligraphy, chopstick etiquettes, tea ceremony and celebrate Chinese
festivals such as Lunar New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid autumn
Festival to name a few to introduce and strengthen students
understanding of the Chinese culture and language.
