I. Động từ
1. Do, does, did + V – if
Eg: She visited me yesterday.
She did visit me yesterday.
2. Sử dụng ĐT: “ what”
Eg: We need to study hard to have higher scores.
What we need to do is to study hard

II. Tính từ
1. Too + adj ( for sb ) + to V
2. Adj + enough ( for sb ) + to V
3. So + adj + N + that + S + V
Such ( a/an) + adj + N + that + S + V
Eg : The dress is beautiful enough for her to buy
Such a beautiful dress that she buy.
So beautiful a dress that she buy

4. Adj + as/though + … + S + V
Dịch : Dù nó đẹp/ dù nó xấu…
However + adj + S + V ….
No matter how + adj + S + V
Although….
Eg: Although the test was difficult, we finished it on time.
However difficult the test was, …..
 No matter how difficult the test was,…
Difficult as the test was, …..
5. S + V + so + adj/adv + that + S + V
= It ( S) is/was such ( a/an) + adj + N + that + S + V
= It is/was too adj ( for sb) to V
= It is/was ( not) adj enough for sb to V
Eg: The shoes were too small that she couldn’t wear.
The shoes were too small for her to wear
It was such small shoes that she coulnd’t wear.
The shoes were not big enough for her to wear.

III. Danh từ/ Đại từ/ Trạng từ

1. Danh từ phản thân ( Itself/myself/ herself/ himself,..)
S + itself/ myself/… + V
= Chính là tôi đã vẽ..
NOTE: BY myself = on my own
BY herself = on her own
BY himself = on his own
2. Đảo ngữ: nhấn mạng ( nhấn mạng cho V, nhấn mạnh ADV )
 Nhấn mạnh cho ADV ( vị trí, hướng)
ADV + S + V
Eg: The man sat in an armchair.
In an armchair, sat the man.
Eg: Hanoi lives in the North of VN.
 Đảo ngữ áp dụng cho mệnh đề chính
 A)Only
- Only after : Chỉ sau khi
- Only once : Chỉ 1 khi
- Only in this/that way : Chỉ bằng cách này/ cách kia
- Only then : Chỉ sau đó
- Only + adv ( vị trí, hướng) : Chỉ qua … ->

 Only after + Ving/ S +…. : Chỉ sau khi

 Only with + S/ Ving : Chỉ với ai -> + TĐT (
did/was/were/are/is… + S + V
 Only by + S/Ving : Chỉ bằng cách này
 Only if + S + V : Chỉ nếu
 Only when + S + V : Chỉ khi
Eg; Only when their parents came home, did they start learning
Only if it rains, do we go out.
Only after finishing your homework can you watch TV.
