Emilio Aguinaldo y Famy, was born on March 22 1869
to Carlos Aguinaldo y Jamir (Father) and to Trinidad
Famy y Villuaneva (Mother) in the town of Cavite el
Viejo (present-day Cavite). In the Spanish colonial
administration, Carlos Aguinaldo was designated
gobernadorcillo (municipal governor) of the
community, as were his grandparents Eugenio
Aguinaldo y Kajigas and Mara Jamir y de los Santos.
