Some people say that homework is not a necessity for children, while other people

have some strong arguments against the setting of homework. As far as I am

concerned, homework might be essential for schoolchildren.

To begin with, homework might limit opportunities to engage in extracurricular

activities, hobbies, or spend time with their families because children spend almost all
of their learning time at school. Therefore, removing homework can help children
have more time to balance their lifestyle. Moreover, some students had learning
spaces, which means students have different learning styles and spaces. For example,
Giving homework assumes all students must complete tasks at the same rate, which
may not be the case. Children may require more time and support to understand
concepts in regular class.

On the other hand, homework can develop responsibility and time management skills,
which means homework teaches children valuable skills such as responsibility and
organization. By completing assignments within given deadlines, students learn to
prioritize tasks, manage their time effectively, and develop self-discipline. These
skills are essential for success not only in academics but also in the future. Last but
not least, creating homework provides an opportunity for students to reinforce and
practice what they have learned in the classroom. It helps boost their creativity and
allows them to apply their knowledge independently. As a result, individuals might
develop their personal growth to move forward.

To sum up, although homework has a little bit of a disadvantage, I still believe that
the benefits outweigh it in the long run.
