The intention of this guide is to provide quick instructions to key tasks of the
Motic Images 2000 software. If more detail is needed or what you are looking
for is not contained in this guide, please consult Help that comes with your
software or visit our website http://www.motic.com.
 Installation Instructions

Before installing Motic MC2000, please read this chapter carefully, and perform setup by
following the step-by-step instructions.

Preparation for Software Installation

1. Ensure USB2.0 Port PCI Card is installed.
2. Ensure your Motic microscope ready, and check that the Motic MC2000 cable is NOT
connected to the USB2.0 port of the computer.

MC2000 Driver Installation

Installation of Motic MC2000 Driver for Windows XP
Before installing the Motic MC2000 Driver, please ensure that the USB2.0 Port PCI Card has
been installed (refer to the next chapter Installation of USB2.0 Port PCI Card and Driver).
After installing the USB2.0 Port PCI Card, please restart the computer.

Make sure the MC2000 is connected to the

computer. The "Find New Hardware
Wizard" will then appear. Select "Install
from a list or specific location (Advanced)",
and click "Next".

 Select the item "Include this location in the
search", and then insert the CD. Click
"Browse" to select the driver.

Locate the "MC1000AndMC2000" folder

from the CD files, and click "OK".

Please confirm the destination path, and

click "Next".

 The Wizard will then search for the desired
files, please wait…..

Click "Continue Anyway" to continue.

Files will then be copied to your computer.

 Click "Finish" to complete installation of the
MC2000 driver.

Installation of USB2.0 Port PCI Card Driver For Windows 2000

The figure on the left shows the installation

location of the USB2.0 Port PCI Card, the
PC1 slot, to which the contact footing of the
said card is to be inserted.

Press down the card with the input sockets

plate attached to the sockets panel (usually at
the back) of your computer.

 After installing the USB2.0 Port PCI Card,
the system will search for the USB2.0 Port
PCI Card automatically.

Click “Next”.

Choose “Search for the….”, and click “next”.

Select “Specify a Location”, and click

“Next”.

 Click “Browse”.

Please select: Nec\uPD720100 and click

“Open” to return to the previous interface.

Click “OK”.

Click “Next”.

 Click “Finish”.

Motic MC2000

1. Before using Motic MC2000, select MC2000Camera.exe from the Settings options.

2. Upon starting MC2000, the Exposure and

White Balance operations will be carried out
automatically to make the quality and color of
images in the Preview window similar to those
of actual images. The interface will then appear
as it does on the right:

3. Through the Control panel, easily alter the quality and effects of the image shown in the
preview window.

4. From the Toolbar, click the Capture button to capture the real-time image shown
in the preview window.

The image captured will be saved in the Temp
folder under the current user.

5. Click the Auto Capture button (next to the Capture button) to automatically capture a
number of images.

6. Motic MC2000 enables you to record

video. From the Toolbar, click the Video
button, fill in the name and path and click
“OK” to save the video.

Start Recording; click the STOP button to

stop recording.

 7. Motic MC2000 enables you to adjust
Brightness, Contrast and Saturation. If you
alter the brightness or switch specimens
during observation, use Auto Exposure and
White Balance to adjust the image.

8. This program also contains an ROI

function. Drag the mouse in the Preview
window to define a rectangle; this selected
area will then appear in the Preview
window. Click again to restore the original
image.

9. Motic MC2000 also provides a Real-time Image Preview function. From the Toolbar, click

to select different filters with which to either process the whole image or just the
defined region.

10. Motic MC2000 has the ability to capture clear and sharp images even in situations where
there is not enough light. From the Settings panel, users may also apply many other capture
settings.

请在软件使用前认真阅读安装指导 并在安装过程中严格按照下述步骤执行

使用前的准备工作
1. Motic MC 2000 设备配套的 USB2.0 Port PCI Card 已经安装好
2. Motic MC 2000 设备配套的视频线与计算机没有连接

Motic MC2000 驱动程序的安装

在 Windows XP 操作系统下安装 Motic MC2000 设备驱动程序:

在安装 Motic MC2000 设备的驱动程序之前 请确保已经安装了 USB2.0 Port PCI Card

卡 具体安装方法请参考下节 USB2.0 Port PCI Card 卡与驱动程序的安装 安装完
USB2.0 Port PCI Card 卡以后 请重启计算机

确定 MC2000 与计算机连接好 这时
会出现 找到新的硬件向导 对话框
选择 从列表或指定位置安装 按 下
一步 按钮继续安装

 选择 在搜索中包括这个位置 这一项
然后在光驱中放入安装盘 按 浏览
按钮选择驱动程序

在光盘中找到 MC1000AndMC2000”文
件夹 然后点击 确定 按钮

确认对话框中的路径后 然后点击 下
一步 按钮

 点击 仍然继续 按钮继续下一步的安
装

安装向导正在把驱动程序安装文件复制
到电脑上

按 完成 按钮 完成安装 MC2000 的

 Motic MC2000

1. 在使用 Motic MC2000 之前 进入设置选择捕捉器 MC2000.exe 即可运行 Motic

MC2000

2. 启动 Motic MC2000 后 会自动计

算曝光和白平衡 使显示图像质量
与色彩接近于真实的图像 工作界
面如右图所示

3. 对控制面板中的各项参数加以设置 可以改变预览窗口中的图像质量和效果

4. 点击窗口工具栏中的静态图像捕捉按钮 你将捕捉到预览窗口所见到

的实时图像

捕捉的图像将被存储在用户的
Temp文件夹下

5. 您也可以选择窗口工具栏中的自动捕捉按钮 紧邻拍照按钮 自动采集若干幅

6. Motic MC2000 还具有录像功能 点击工
具栏上的录像按钮 输入录像内容保存的
名称及存储位置 点击 确定

开始录像 点击 STOP 按钮可停止录像

7. 在 Motic MC2000 中具有自动曝光 白平

衡 背景光校准 亮度 对比度 饱和度
等图像调整功能 如果观察中途改变显微
镜的光亮度或更换样本等 可以使用自动
曝光和白平衡功能来调整图像的质量 可
参考右图

8. 同时还具有区域预览功能 如果在预览窗
口中拖动鼠标 划出一个方形区域 可以
预览已经选定的区域 再次点击该按钮可
以恢复全视场预览 如下图

9. Motic MC2000 中还具有实时图像预览处理功能 点选工具栏中的高级按钮

将可以选择不同的过滤器对全局实时图像进行处理 也可在预览窗口中
对划出区域进行处理 如下图

10. Motic MC2000 具有针对外部光源亮度不够的情况能够拍出清晰的图片的功能

用户可以从设置面板中进行更多的拍照设置
