MY pet Dog

In my heart, I hold a faithful hound,

A loyal friend, with ears so round.

With endless energy, he bounds and prances,

My pet dog, the epitome of romances.

His fur, a cloak of warmth and delight,

A mixture of colors, so dark and so light.

His wagging tail, a sign of pure devotion,

Bringing joy to my life, with every motion.

Through fields we stroll, side by side,

His presence a comfort, a constant guide.

His eyes, so bright, a window to the soul,

Unconditional love, his most precious role.

In playful moments, we chase away strife,

Laughter and barks filling our shared life.

Fetching balls, and playing with glee,

A bond between us, forever it shall be.
